Becoming the writer I want to be

Hey Henry! Glad you're doing well. I've been writing away for the past few days and it's been awesome.

 

I'll try post a little more regularly!
I see your getting close to finishing another bookin the series? @AtomicTango

 

Thanks man. Yep life is good. Have had to stop. Like completely stop my plans in life and re-evaluate what I'm doing. So I'm taking a break from working and have just been studying the Bible quite a bit and learning to wait patiently for God.
I'm thinking I need to write a bit more but I've just been so engrossed in these study's!

What are you working on? And do you mean your staying away from home for the purpose of writing inspiration? That's cool if it's the case!

 

I get it. I'm having to re-evaluate my own plans and try to figure out what I'm going to be doing moving forward. I'm trying to see what God tells me to do as well but it's been a bit overwhelming as it's like everything's coming up all at once.

Always make the time to write. Sometimes even the littlest of writing can be a welcome break from studying- unless its academic writing haha.

I'm working on an essay and some poems. No, I'm home but I've been more inspired lately to write poems and to try and start getting them published!

 

In rain-filled August,
I realized I'm not hurt
by it anymore.

 

1448 words. Chapter is done. Two remain.

 

I am. Just finished the third to last chapter.

 

Definitely the amount of joy I got just finishing of that one I posted here.
I also love writing poetry!
When the words start to flow and to rhyme. It's compared to when the brush on a canvas begins to bring a portrait to life.

 

Very exciting.

 

5892 words this week. Up to 595 pages. Two chapters remain.

 

I've written like 5 haikus in the span of a few days haha
