    I've been trying to quit for 20+ years and I've only just discovered that you should do it slowly.

    Most of us (especially at the beginning) will go cold turkey straight away and try to last as long as possible.

    The truth is your going to fail anyway, you might as well learn to take control first.

    Try to go a few days each time, and each time try to stretch it out little by little.
