Part of a successful meditation experience I personally believe is to integrate a belief system along with your practice. For example while I focus on my breathing or sensation in the body, I like to also picture myself as being calm or someone that is not bothered by thoughts. This has worked better for me personally and allowed me to be more focused on the state I aimed to achieve while meditating. Anyone else have tried this tip during their meditation experience? And if so what other belief systems or unconventional advices do you have in order to improve on the quality and results of your practice?
