    100 mg? I thought 40 mg was the upper safe limit? 100 mg for prolonged period of time might cause toxicity and nutritional imbalances. How long have you been doing this?

    No its not harmfull or toxic becauae the body get rid of excess zinc when you workout or sweating or ejaculating and the body does't need copper as much as it needs zinc.... We always hear about zinc loss but not copper loss in most cases because its so rare

    Well, maybe you are right, I don't know. You do you, but I'm personally just gonna follow safe guidelines of 40 mg. But I gotta admit I've been thinking of "over-dosing" it too for short periods of time; not permanently though...

    Your point Nr. 26... I don't want increased body hair, lol!

    Did you maybe start flying as well?

    Being in sports and nutrition my whole life this sounds far fetched.

    Anything over 50 mg per day can cause serious toxicity issues including problems with copper and iron absorption.

    Eating a balanced diet including meats shell fish seeds eggs etc will provide more than enough zinc instead of playing around with excessive dosages through supplements

    No, don't be silly. Zinc can't make you fly, to get that effect he would have to drink 100 RedBulls a day...

    Zinc is POSSIBLY SAFE when taking by mouth in doses greater than 40 mg daily. There is some concern that taking doses higher than 40 mg daily might decrease how much copper the body absorbs. Decreased copper absorption may cause anemia. Taking high amounts of zinc is LIKELY UNSAFE. High doses above the recommended amounts might cause fever, coughing, stomach pain, fatigue, and many other problems. Taking more than 100 mg of supplemental zinc daily or taking supplemental zinc for 10 or more years doubles the risk of developing prostate cancer. There is also concern that taking large amounts of a multivitamin plus a separate zinc supplement increases the chance of dying from prostate cancer. Taking 450 mg or more of zinc daily can cause problems with blood iron. Single doses of 10-30 grams of zinc can be fatal.

    When applied to the skin: Zinc is LIKELY SAFE for most adults when applied to the skin. Using zinc on broken skin may cause burning, stinging, itching, and tingling.

    I assume you are marathon runner who eat 600 calorie a day and run 10000 km every day and with a diet consist of yogurt and oats lol

    Anyway you should now that some people needs a lot of zinc... I myself tried taking 10-40 mg a day and nothing happend or changed but i now take 100-150 mg a day and feel very positive i don't have any problem at all... And if you read in the occult, yes humans could fly and could move objects by the power of the mind

    No far from it.

    I did competitive power lifting and moved to mma. Fought amateur and semi pro for 15 years. Weights cuts and nutrition is very familiar to me.I spend tons of calories and my diet consists of lean meats vegetables and complex carbs spread out to 6 meals per day.

    I also have stages where I follow terry crews intermittent fasting diet used by a lot of NFL players at the moment.

    Every body has a different tolerance and mechanics. Taking dosages of 100 mg +zinc per day could seriously cause issues for people.

    Oh and we do need copper very much so!

    Yeah, me too. It happened with some iron supplements as well in the past, bad nausea and all that stuff. Always get them with your stomach full of goodies.

    I don't really know i am not an expert but i personaly started to add vitamin D3 to my supploment combination... I will also buy fish oil capsules tomorrow too to make sure that i get the most of it...

    So the combination that i recommended you to take is :-

    1- zinc

    2- vitamin D3

    3- fish oil

    All typs of Stress are alike.... There is no diffrence between jogging or having a job at mcdonalds or fighting your boss...all stimulate the same physiological response and zinc is known to lower streas in general so thats why athlates take it, so this means that not only athlates should take zinc in high doeses but all people should... Espcially poeple who have stressful jobs like working night shifts as example.
