I had K-9 installed but apparently there was an update that made the whole thing go FUBAR, and now you have to pay because they got bought out. So-- no more k9.

What has been the most effective for you guys? I liked K9 because I had to go into the admin settings to unblock sites, which gave me a good 30 seconds to realize what I was doing.
I'm not really into porn anymore and don't look at it (and I'm utterly losing my desire to) but I really want it for facebook and instagram on desktop.

Thanks, and sorry if this has been posted recently (i looked)

  2. I just asked a similar question. I am using quostodio started today. But I don’t like that it lets you image search. That’s the gateway drug in my opinion..

Don't want to sound mean but you're going to have everything unrestricted on your devices. If you block all of the PMO triggers, you're not solving the problem. This is what I learned from other people on NoFap while I was recovering. You need to face the problem by avoiding it yourself rather than using a blocker.

  4. Absolutely. Empowering yourself creates the best porn blocker money cannot buy.

Safe Surfer is pretty good. The BlockSite app is great... So great that it blocks this site. Lol! I actually only use it to block apps in the evening so I can get off my phone at a decent time and go to sleep. Tried the adult site blocker but since it block any site that mentions porn by name it's not so good. If they introduce a white listing option then I will use it.

  6. Update. You can block search engines on quostodio. Actually I found that out today. It’s really great.

I haven't used a porn blocker myself in recovery. I'm thinking it might be handy in protecting children from their own curiosity and PMO in early adolescence.
