    Does anyone bet on sports here? I'm slightly tempted to give it a try but I'm also concerned that I'll get addicted to it. I guess if I have self-control I'll be alright?

    LOL, that doesn't sound too reassuring.

    Unless you know loads about the sport in question I'd say it is not a good idea at all...

    It's like porn in many ways... there are some people that can handle it, but then there are many more that have their lives ruined by it. I prefer to do stuff that does not create misery for me or others.. like gardening.

    Betting and Gambling is an activity that seems to work well in keeping the mind young in many people around the world. I am also love gambling but just when I have free time and why not earn some money. I spent my free time playing here in different games and it is also a method of relaxation. Besides these last week, I won about 1000$ I think it's not bad.

    I see this person deleted their account, but for anyone else, I would say that if you have problems with addiction (which you likely do, if you're here), you shouldn't get into any areas that are known to cause problems with addiction.

    I very very rarely drink alcohol and I've never done any kind of drugs, not only because I think they're potentially harmful, but because I honestly worry I would easily become addicted to something like that.

    I would definitely not advise an addict of any form to get into serious gambling.
