Plan D: it works fine with me and it is (I think) unbreakable
(You still have access to the internet on phone but you have to lock your phone settings along with the bad apps)
Lastly, remember that "A blocker is not supposed to protect you; you are the one to protect yourself .. you are the one who installed it in the first place!!"
(You still have access to the internet on phone but you have to lock your phone settings along with the bad apps)
- For PC, (Qustodio and K9 together or Qustodio alone but not k9 alone)
- Qustodio (on PC) (let some trusted and respected friend watch your browsing history, even if you managed somehow to uninstall it, s/he will know) .. remember to ask him to aways allow nofap.com
- as dorayaki mentioned before that "The most difficult of these tips is when you have to ask for help from your friend or family and tell to them your problem with internet addiction." .. I am sorry but if we can not manage our own lives then we have to ask for help
- K9 (if you have an old license for K9) work greatly .. just make sure to give your password to some trusted friend and never ever leave it with you whatsoever.
- For Android,
- Applock by DoMobile Labs .. it works fine for me .. here's how to make it unbreakable (to some extent of course but for me it is the best till now )
- First thing, delete all the bad apps
- When you install it, don't add your account as a reference for forgetting its password (skip this step)
- for system apps, lock all the apps that could trigger you like chrome, system browser, google app, play store, YouTube, and other browsers on your phone
- you have to lock your phone settings ... This is the only way to make Applock unbreakable
- add its extra app (AppLock protection) to prevent its uninstall
- Lock your ability to un/install any new apps
- Create a pin password and rearrange the lock (so that the positions of the numbers are haphazardly randomized) to weaken your first memory of the password till you forget it completely
- never ever leave the password with you (send it to some trusted friend and delete the message)
- First thing, delete all the bad apps
Kaspersky safe kids is also a great alternative for Qustodio on both android, IOS, and PC .. its free plan monitors and sends daily/weekly reports & it allows blocking certain apps or sites
Lastly, remember that "A blocker is not supposed to protect you; you are the one to protect yourself .. you are the one who installed it in the first place!!"
