Windows 7 / Vista / Windows 8 / Windows 10
For all these versions of Microsoft OS, the settings to be made are the same. Access the "Control Panel" in the Start Menu and then click on "View status and network tasks". Next to "Local Connection", click "View Status" and then "Properties".
Select "TCP / IP Protocol Version 4" and click "Properties" again. In the window that will open, select the "Use the following DNS server addresses" option and enter the addresses:
Preferred DNS server: 208.67.222.123
Alternate DNS server: 208.67.220.123
Windows XP
Access the Start Menu, then click on the "Control Panel" icon and then select the "Network Connections". Right-click on the active connection and then on the "Properties" option.
Select "Internet Protocol (TCP / IP)" and click "Properties" again. In the window that will open, select the "Use the following DNS server addresses" option and enter the addresses:
Preferred DNS server: 208.67.222.123
Alternate DNS server: 208.67.220.123
Linux (Distro: Ubuntu)
From the Operating System desktop, right-click the network icon and then click Edit Connections. Select the connection used and click again on the "Edit" button. Choose the "IPv4 Settings" tab. In the DNS servers text box, enter the addresses: 208.67.222.123, 208.67.220.123. Click "OK" and restart your system.
OS X (from the Leopard version)
Click on the apple of the Desktop and select the "System Preferences" option. Choose the icon for the Network and choose the first connection shown in the connections window. Go to the advanced settings window and enter the addresses: 208.67.222.123 and 208.67.220.123. Click "OK" to finish.
