Blocker Trouble

So I had net nanny and k-9 both installed on my old mac and they worked really well. However, I recently go a pc and they don’t work. They both override each other and cancel the other one out. Out of the two, I liked K-9 better because it’s free and seemed to block more stuff on the pc. However, I recently found that when you first start the computer, K-9 doesn’t work. It seems to take some time before it kicks in. I figured this out because I have certain social media sites blocked and they were available. Really annoying and frustrating as it’s nice to know that porn doesn’t necessarily have to be readily available if you take certain precautions. So windows people.. what’s the best blocker out there. I also need lots of non porn sites blocked because there are many “non porn” sites that have tons of porn on them.
