In your quest for self-improvement, what books have you read that you've found helpful or that have otherwise made a positive difference?

To kick things off, here are books I've read / am reading during my reboot (most came recommended, so I'm just passing these on) — in no particular order:

    • Mark Manson: 'The subtle art of not giving a f*ck'
    • D. Joseph Jacques: 'Chivalry now - the code of male ethics'
    • Ernest Dimnet: 'What we live by'
    • Dr Joe Dispenza: 'Breaking the habit of being yourself: how to lose your mind and create a new one'
    • Dr John Gottman: 'Ten lessons to transform your marriage'
    • Kahlil Gibran: 'The prophet'

(That's it for now; I'll post updates as and when.)

  10. Books from Victor Pride. 30 Days of Discipline was short, to the point and wish it was around when I was younger. Everything was easy to follow but the cold shower part was the toughest for me.
