    Hi Guys,

Just a quick one... does anyone else seem to get brain fog or a fuzzy head for a few hours after PMO / edging? I seem to get this & have read about it but wondered if anyone else experiences this?

Also, & more importantly, does anyone know if this goes after a time of non-relapse? Has anyone experienced a clearer head after stopping PMO? Would love to experience this!

    Cheers

Yes. Pmo + relatively less sleep gave me a lot of brainfogs. When I sat to study I felt so numb in the head. Words didn't seem to relate and I felt dumb and couldn't understand concepts in depth.

It goes away after a week

Absolutely goes away! I stopped pmo about ten days now. I used to do it everynight. I would wake up exhausted and barely functional by 4pm. In the last 2 weeks I feel great, no fog, sharper conversation ability, faster processing. I did mo the other day as an experiment. Did not experience the fog. It is the p that screws up the brain. I am convinced.

It takes time though. You can't keep on anticipating it. It will come when the time is right and it may vary for all; could be in a month or even 2 months of no PMO.

    Hi Guys,

Thanks very much for your replies. It's good to know it will go eventually & its something else good to aim for. I have started to use it as a reason not to relapse now, if I start to relapse I think about how it'll mess up my head if I do! It has a knock on effect; when I have brain fog & talk to people they must be able to notice that something is not quite right.

Plus if I relapse & get brain fog as usual, I see that day as a write off - nobody can afford to waste days! So I think I can't afford to write off another day to this bad habit. This is a new way which I have been thinking, a day wasted with brain fog is a day in the wrong direction of bettering myself.

    Cheers

Having a clear head & not wasting a day with brain fog is greater than PMO.

I can attest. I do notice being a bit more sharp in the head.

You can't expect to think like a genius every weekday then chug-a-lug a fifth of rum and expect to act intelligently over the weekend.
