K, so I'm doing 7 days before the hard 90. It's day 7, I already feel great but...

I can't concentrate on anything! My focus span is as good as 2-year-old's... Brain fog all the time... How do you guys deal with it? Any pills for this, exercises, anything?

Time, exercise, and meditation. For me that was the big thing, brain fog went away and I can concentrate like a wizard!

  3. Mine has been dissipating slowly. I exercise 4 times a week, and although I'm able to concentrate on stuff, I have a tendency to day-dream and mind-wander.

I am struggling with the same thing currently. I know it goes away after a while, but this first week is hell.

Same here. Day 7 of no O and two weeks of no P... I'm getting horny of every girl I see in public. Mainly because alot of them wear yoga pants but still. Horniness level is over 9000!

Yeah, I'm experiencing brain fog, too, but I remember when I achieved the better part of 30 days a few years ago, it was amazing how sharp I felt. I felt like I could perform laser surgery on any concept with my mind. I remember when I spontaneously used the word "sublingual" in a conversation, which I hadn't used in years if ever, and thought, "There's no way that word would have popped into my mind if I'd been jerking myself into oblivion." However, when I've fallen off the wagon there are times when I seriously could just trail off mid-sentence and go, "Duuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhh." I've got to remember how embarrassing and daunting this fog is next time I'm tempted to relapse!

Agreed, brain fog makes me feel like a 5 year old and sometimes can't even add up coins properly when looking for change wtf. I find it gets better with a little time. Excercise and fresh air helps too

First week is ugly. You need to make some "momentum", then the things flow easier.

Ok, so I guess it's just normal. I was worrying a bit. So, in this case - 7 days completed, starting the hard 90 tomorrow! And I'll exercise everyday. Hopefully it'll bring back the attention.

    Thank you guys!

Brain fog is the worst. Find it impossible to chat to girls when I could easily do it a few years ago.
    University is a struggle aswell.
Just gotta keep at it and the results will come....hopefully

Super clarity is only a few weeks away, don't give up, the rewards are amazing!

I haven't watched this yet, but maybe someone will beat me to the punch and post any thoughts or insights. I'd also like to read any other thoughts/ experiences on achieving better mental focus even if you don't watch the video. I'm posting it here to help motivate me to check it out. For now, I've got to run some errands. It's entitled, Daniel Goleman on Focus: The Secret to High Performance and Fulfillment.
