Brazilian friend has a lot to thank you!

Dear friends, I am Brazilian and I am 25 years old.

I come here to write to you because you helped me a lot during a hard battle that I had against pornography and masturbation.

I have started masturbating and seeing porn when I was 12 years old and continued that habit until October 2016 with many unsuccessful attempts to stop this horrible habit that consumes a lot of physical energy and time (each day I masturbated, I spent around 1h per day including watching porn).

In August 2016, I started praying a lot to stop this, I started going to the daily mass and making commitments to stay pure until the following day as similar as Alcoholics Anonymous. Furthermore, I have read a book about how damaging is PMO, I watched A LOT OF videos about the benefits of neglecting PMO, I have read a lot of news related to that and, finally, have seen many testimonials here at NoFap!

Hence, I come to say thanks for your amazing support, inspiring stories and I celebrate (Thank God!) being 1 year and 1 month with neither Porn nor Masturbation.
However, we should still keep attentive to not fall into the temptation of doing this kind of damaging action.

In conclusion, I pray for you for being so inspiring in overcoming this and courageous for sharing your struggles in this battle which is not easy for anyone. Nevertheless, remember that we are together in this battle!
