Break the cycle

Today I break this cycle. Not tomorrow, not on the 1st of January, but now.
There’s no way I’m gonna fail this time, I can’t afford it!
So now is the time for me to fight my last battle! And I’m gonna be victorious!
I’m gonna stand up straight and lift up my head.
I’m gonna be the real me! No more lies, no more pain.
I won’t lose sight of the things ahead, no more looking back to the old me cause from now on I will fight every single second of every single day. I’m gonna bleed to death if necessary.
I’m gonna be the person my friends and family deserve to have, I’m gonna be a man deserving to serve his God.
It is time to grow up, I’m not a kid anymore. I won’t live for myself anymore.
Here I am and here I’ll stand!
Today is only the beginning of a never ending journey.
