Caffeine’s effect on reboot

    ok so the whole year I’ve been on and off caffeine. I usually drink it for about a week or two and then I cut it out, but the most I’ve ever cut it out was for three weeks and then I had a super busy day at work and was exhausted from relapsing to porn a few days prior, so I had a coffee and got back on it.

    I’ve currently been drinking strong coffees for 4 days in this streak now. I was off it for 2 weeks, but went out last Friday, so wanted to enjoy a coffee and get a bit of extra energy. The only downsides I notice from coffee is it takes slightly longer to get to sleep, but I can still get a full 8 hours sleep, I just have to make sure I’m in bed early, whilst if I haven’t had caffeine I can stay up later and then go to bed and get to sleep quickly. The whole year I’ve only had like 5 days of being sleep deprived and these were mostly from late weekends nights. The other downside I notice is I have a slightly harder time waking up in the morning and feel more tired then usual until I have a coffee.

    The benefits I notice from coffee though is more substained energy throughout the day and a more manageable appetite

    I’ve researched heaps on the web about caffeine and still can’t find a clear answer on consuming it on nofap. So many people on this forum and on the reddit nofap are highly against caffeine and they actually seem way to crictical apart it. I personal don’t care about the anxiety effects and sleep etc, as I don’t get anxiety and I am still sleeping. I just find it slightly harder to go throughout my day without a coffee while I’m on it. And it takes me about a week of abstinence to have proper energy levels for work.

    What I want to know is will caffeine have an effect on my reboot and healing process? Why my brain fog be delayed and will my erections start getting better if I continue drinking coffee but stay on nofap. Coffee isn’t going to make me relapse so please don’t bring that up

    Today I decided voluntarily to have my last cup of coffee.
    1. Maximum,I had 6 cups of coffee * 125 ml a day.
    2. It burnt my wallet by spending more in Starbucks.

  4. Trust me when you go without caffeine for a while you'll realise how weird it is to be wired up all the time. My mind has never been as clear as it is now.

    It’s been super busy at work though and at work I drive machinery, and caffeine makes it a lot easier and I can concentrate better and honestly it feels safer. I also have one more energy during the day and my appetite is stable, so can it really be that bad. The only negatives I get from it is it takes me slightly longer to get to sleep and I feel more tired first thing in the morning.

    I just want to be able to have sex with women, communicate efficiently without my brain getting confused and be able to read a book or study without my mind not registering anything. So will caffeine set me back in these regards?
     
  8. Caffeine is a stimulant which is why it energizes. Simply put it boosts adrenal function which is also why it can aggravate anxiety in anxiety sufferers.
    The adrenal glands located on top of your kidneys are also in charge of some of your sex hormones (e.g. androgen). Caffeine abuse if you can call it that can probably, just like sugar abuse, affect these hormones, wearing out these glands, acting as a type of endocrin disruptor.

    The only really healthy stimulant probably is exercise. Complex carbohydrates with meals can help sustain your energy levels throughout the day.

    I think it all depends on the coffee intake.

    They do recommend getting off coffee if you suffer from Andrenal fatigue.

    But then again one or two coffees per day are considered healthy in some studies especially warding off diabetes type two.

    But are you suffering from Andrenal fatigue? Many doctors even argue that this condition exists.

    Do some blood tests check hormone levels vitamin d cortisol etc.

    If these are good i see no reason to quit coffee unless you drinking too many cups per day

    Yeah I’m off and I’m with coffee as well, as for right now I switched to decaf. But there is plenty of Studies where coffee is healthy for you and can even help fight cancer cells
     
  11. Drinking coffee has always affect my system.(possibly the glands). It make me feel sweaty, more shakes etc... The day before yesterday, I drank some due to constipation back & forth.

    Ok, so how many cups or what dosage would be considered abuse when it comes to coffee. I hear drinking coffee regularly yet staying off it one day a week might help with weight loss.

    Two cups instant during the week. I prefer to have real stuff during the weekend. I make my coffee quite strong though, so I have two heaped tsps per cup. The coffee I have during the week is mocanno, I'm probably getting about 150mg per cup. Then I may have two cups of black tea at home. First coffee is at 10pm second is at 12

    So this would be considered abuse or just how often you like to consume it :)
