Is there a way to see how many times you've hit the reset button since you first joined NoFap?
How do you restart it actually ?
Towards the top of the page, click on Update Day Counter.
Yes thanks guys !
No, sadly not. This would be useful. All my relapses were before I found NoFap so they are spread through various journals or calendars if I even bothered to write them down. It would be interesting to map them out and get a sense of progress etc.
@Lazarus Shuttlesworth one thing you could try, I've noticed that @KingGray does this, is start a new journal each time with the count in the title.
I can't take credit for it. I borrowed it from someone else here, years ago. It's helpful for a couple of reasons:
It creates a daily practice of coming here to update my count.
It gives an easy way to time travel. I can easily see how I felt on day 14 of my current and previous attempts. It makes it easier to learn from my past.
Another helpful thing is to keep track of your current urge, mood, and confidence to complete the reboot on a scale of 1 to 10. This requires a few moments of daily introspection, which helps keep me on track.
