Absolutely.... he’s a 40 year addict. The only thing he’s changed in the last year was no pmo. Not only did it shrink, it just looked really bad. It looks healthy now, and it’s soft to the touch, before it was kinda icky. It was tough, discolored and shriveled.

 

I think that it if you are a heavy binger it can change you physically, but it will not be directly from PMO,
when i used to binge heavy i didn`t really take care of my physical health, because i was mentally always occupied with chasing O`s.. after reducing my masturbation habits drastically my acne almost vanished completely, but it was also because i started going to the gym and take care of my own diet only after stopping with PMO

 

I do not think it is measurable - we all know addictions do not care who you are or what shape you are in.
Nevertheless, my PMO habits definitely contributed to my being chubby and unmuscular. This year's goal is to turn all those times I would have PMO'd into a workout. Hopefully I'll get some good results.

 

Traditional Chinese medicine advises against too much ejaculation. There are recommended frequencies depending on age and state of health. Semen is said to contain 'essence'. Chronic loss of essence depletes the energy of the constitution and has all kinds of knock-on effects on the body. So the TCM point of view fits with some people's experience here. Even when I was using porn, I didn't ejaculate very often (compared to the average bloke I guess) and I have better skin than a lot of people my age (though there are of course a lot of other factors - food, exercise, not smoking and so on).

Ditto the dick shrinking. Before I started NoFap this time (I was on Through the Flame a few years ago), it felt like it was disconnected from my body, like after a cold bike ride when I have to check it hasn't fallen off. Now it is starting to warm up again and sometimes it hangs down rather than retracting to a shrivelled stump (sorry for the grim details). I haven't suffered from ED but I'd say my erections have felt less full and strong during the past year, as if the blood doesn't fully penetrate into my cock. Since I started to abstain, I can feel warmth going into my balls during meditation.

The assymetry thing some people mention, would that be because of the posture during PM as well as loss of essence? My shoulders used to tighten forwards when I was watching porn. This is a ridiculous thing to admit, but I used to change hands to even up the strain... Yet another thing that made the habit so totally repulsive.

I thought this was a bit of a myth, or at least exaggeration. But boy, was I wrong.

From some before and after pics on here and on YouTube, and from observing my husband, I can safely say the change in appearance for the better (when there is no PMO) is massive.

• Relaxed, beautiful smile
• Bigger, firmer junk
• Better in bed

It makes evolutionary sense in a way for a woman to be drawn to a man who isn't "emptied out".

 

Definitely changes a lot of things. Physically my dick has increased in length, probably a bit but noticeable. My balls have become slightly bigger which i guess is probably cz of the increase in T levels. My hair quality has tremendously increased. I had acne, not much but my skin is crystal clear now. I've gained muscle mass, i was 55kgs before and it went up to 70. Since I'm 5" 11 i was obviously under weight but after starting NoFap and working out simultaneously I've got a great physique now, this in turn boosted my self esteem and confidence. Mentally, things are really different...i have better focus in life and reduced social anxiety. I have better sleep too. These are some major changes i remember right now but there are many changes, it's really worth it.

 

And they exude so much more confidence! I can almost instantly tell now a man who is a porn addict.

 

My observations at 105 days hardmode:

Live life with 100% honesty

Periodic, acute feelings of inner peace and gratitude

I have identified and pursued more goals in the past 90 days than I did in the last 5 years, combined.

Feel renewed sense toward the spiritual: I pray to God almost daily

Feel more connected and sociable: I look more people in the eye, smile, and say hello

I am more focused on accepting and forgiving

Quit smoking weed cold turkey

Desire for alcohol is greatly diminished

I have a LOT more more energy
(I rarely yawn)

I'm more physically fit: I train with weights and cardio, with greater focus and intensity, usually 4-5Xs a week, sometimes up to 2 hours per training session

I sleep better (I don't remember the last time I used an alarm clock to wake up)

I've become a "morning person": I go to bed early and I wake up early, almost always feeling clear and rejuvenated

Reduced alprazolam from 2 mg to .25 mg

Have started dating

Skin texture appears shinier, devoid of dryness and completely non-porous.

My eyes appear clear and vibrant

Eyesight has improved: my eyes rarely feel sore, burning, or scratchy, despite my wearing contacts and staring at a computer screen for 8-10 hours a day; also, I see clearer and farther. Minimal bagginess beneath my eyes has now dissapeared.

Teeth look whiter

Face looks leaner and more angular (could be due to 10-lb. weight loss but I swear my face has changed structurally...I realize I could be wrong but this is what I feel and see every time I look in the mirror)

Countenance appears more relaxed, like somebody just shared a joke; it's like I'm always on the cusp of smiling

Posture has improved

Fingernails are shinier and grow quicker

I feel more appreciative of/connected to nature

I'm financially responsible and frugal: I'm hardly as interested in/impressed by material things

Erections are full, spontaneous, frequent, and sustained

 

During this 17 months i got better hair look,slightly thicker beard,shiny eyes,better looking skin,that's it for me physically.

 

Have u noticed if your voice is deeper? My guess is if you haven’t been pmo”ing that your dick looks different as well. My husbands is much bigger and healthier looking and way softer to touch.

I m not sure about my dick,i didn't have a sex during this 17 months,i think my is same lengths and widths like before,but my looks better now than before and it is softer (Without offense hahah)

 

Not the physical structure , it can change your appearance temporarily, dark circles under eyes , dry beard , tired looking face , blurry vision but it can't change your bone structure

 

I'm the same when I fap it is tight and does t change much to temperature, when I NoFap I hang much more and am much girthier , also sensitive to temperature , when warm and relaxed length soft about 5" and girthier , were as when fap , I'm lucky to hit 3 it's crazy how fapping does this

 

Im on day 40, hair is really growing for sure (half way through male pattern baldness) and acnes yes, they have lessen especially those huge stubborn ones. But my dark circles are getting worse dont know why. And im not sure about the rest.

Here’s my take on it. I’m not sure about the whole reabsorption into the body thing. That may be partly true but I don’t think it is the soul reason. I believe it’s more of a physiological thing. When you don’t ejaculate for a while your brain realizes something isn’t right. You’ve gone from ejaculating daily where your brain thinks you are the absolute man and every girl wants you. Suddenly when you take that away your brain realizes something is wrong. Due to the fact that our job on this earth is to reproduce your brain hits the panic button. In turn your body does what it needs to appear more attractive. It may use the nutrients from the semen to do this but I’m not sure. Personally I‘ve had two instances where people told me my hair looked darker and thicker along with my beard. Females have been staring at me and it’s honestly awkward. I’ve gotten compliments on my skin. To me it would be too much of a coincidence to say that it’s bs. Let me ask you this. Whenever you see someone that has suddenly gotten on their grind and are starting to kill it in life they look different. It’s not like you can really put a finger on it but they look different. This is what I believe semen retention does. you MUST be on your grind though. If you combine sr with being on your grind no doubt you’ll physically change. Change in habits is the only thing that will make us change. Maybe the changes aren’t as crazy as you would think but they are there. For me personally I didn’t even notice the hair growth, darker hair, better skin. Someone had to tell me they saw it. You see yourself in the mirror every day so it’s hard to see small changes. Just continue on the path and life will continue to throw success your way. I like to supplement sr with listening to guys like David goggins and jocko Wilink. If you can implement what they say along with semen retention you will be unstoppable. I can say this with 100% certainty and I’ll put my life on it straight up.
