Can you hide a whatsapp chat? To keep AP chat hidden

    Hi guys and girls,

    Is there a way to hide a whatsapp chat - ie no notifications, doesnt appear at top of chat list?

    Dont worry this isnt for devious reasons, but I am looking to have a whatsapp accountability partner but I dont want there check-ins, messages and that appearing on my phone that family and friends might see and then have some awkward questions

    I know you can mute a conversation to stop notifications but it will appear at the top of the chat list as far as I am aware

    You can archive it and won't appear in the top chats until you get a new message

    Phone settings, apps, WhatsApp, notifications set to whatever you like. Good for iPhone or android, but might be a slightly different path.
