I've decided to vote for whoever is the PPC candidate in my riding. Feels pretty good. I think their party name is dumb (anything with People's in the title sounds Communist), but I'm liking where this is going.

Usually I would vote conservative, but this always seems like a bandaid solution, and Andrew Sheer is such a pussy. Many are saying we need to vote for Sheer to stop Trudeau (to not divide the right), but I'm sick of voting for those losers.

The thing I hope for most, but that I consider highly unlikely to happen, is electoral reform. First past the post system is garbage.

My vote counts for nothing unless the MP I vote for wins their riding. So how do I support the ideas I consider best for Canada when my area is staunchly supportive of an opposing party?

    Blech.

It's just months and months of wasted resources so that we can go back to the same old story that is sending this country down the drain.

    Election happenings:

Trudeau likes to do black and brown face dress up. Not surprised. Has two planes, while lecturing about carbon footprint. Still no meaningful platform.

Sheer is a dual Canadian/American citizen. I am surprised, and jealous. Why would anyone stay in Canada if you could be in a free state where it is warmer and you can conceal carry? Same platform as sockboy.

Green glob photoshops her single use cup into a reusable one. Dumb. Crazy enviro/commie ideas.

No idea where the Turban has been, other than he suddenly became the King of Minorities when Trudeau blackface was discovered. Full blown commie platform.

    Still voting for Mad Max.

  8. I’m so tired of people zeroing in on this one daft “incident” he did, and that’s all they can talk about when it comes to Trudeau. That to me is just an absolute rubbish thing to condemn someone for, especially when it was not only conveniently brought up now because of the election but also seeing as it happened bloody well back in 2000 at a party. I don’t see why everyone gets so hysterical over a costume especially with cosplay, it would of been one thing if he just painted his face especially at a time when a lot of folks didn’t know better but he did a little more than that...

I really don't have a problem with it myself. People play dress up all the time; I don't think a little bit of grease paint makes much difference. I think what bothers people the most about it concerning Trudeau is that he seems really quick to call others racist, yet he seems to do this sort of thing every few years.

  10. Maybe, I just know that’s all anyone has to say about him now and that’s one of the “biggest” things influencing their vote, mainly the man who wore blackface back in 2000. lol

Remember though, you’re not allowed to dress up as anyone other than a white person, but if you’re say black it’s socially acceptable to be anyone you want to be without repercussions, especially in cosplay.

You vote tactfully. The MP I vote for isn't necessarily the MP I want to win but it's the strongest candidate that has the greatest chance of stopping the Conservatives dominance in my area. The party I will vote for probably will win the election but them winning a seat could effect the election.

I understand. But my question is rhetorical. As it is, you are not free to vote for what you believe is best. You must vote to prevent what you believe is worst.

We need to be realistic. Even if you believed in everything the MP stood for they wouldn't be able to fulfill everything they stood for. Any politician who doesn't compromise is a fool and those who are realistic with their promises never get elected.

Yeah that's not why I wouldn't vote him in but thats qhat happens in elections they focuse on the most petty shit anything to get in.

The CBC debate is something I found ridiculous that just goes to show how far down CBC has gone there was no order at all everyone just kept on interupting each other and not a single person could discuss there plans without being interrupting.

I don't think CBC should be hosting these events when they have shown that they are bias to other parties and have proven that they are extremely unprofessional over the last couple of years.

When the MP's keep shooting like a bunch of preschool kids it does not make me excited no matter who gets in.

You have missed the point I intended with my words.

Our electoral system is a mess. The first-past-the-post system does not represent voters well. I’m not talking about politicians. I’m talking about our system that elects them.

  16. Well they do, it’s just weeding out someone who has the closest ideals to you and who’s the least shittiest out of the lot. Just like how we’re stuck with bloody Boris Johnson. lol

CBC should be sold. I haven't watched the CBC in years. I tried to watch the debate, but the format was so stupid.

There standard for programming has went way down I agree.

On top of that they have proven they are extremely racist but like always it's ok if it's against white people.

I’m not too familiar with Canadian politics, but from what I’ve seen from both Scheer and Bernier, I believe I would support Bernier more if I were Canadian. I don’t know though.

Trudeau’s more of a buffoon to Canada than an actual plague, like how I would see Hillary Clinton would be for the USA, Cornyn for UK or Merkel for Germany. Trudeau would be better than all 3 combined. So, if he wins again then eh. Four more years of dressing up.
