I really got into this nofap business about 2 months ago. Did really well and got to 25 days.

But now I can't get past 2 days!

I don't want porn to dictate my life. I want to make sure that the false images in porn don't affect my personal life with my girlfriend.

Tips and motivation to get back into it?

I know exactly what your talking about. It is a sign of true addiction... The only thing I can say is once you get over that hump of the first few days, you'll hold onto them with more strength this time. Now you know how hard it is to get up from a relapse. The first days are the hardest days. Get a week down and you'll still have temptation but you won't be as fast to relapse this time. There is a lot of temptation fighting, but know that it wears down with time...

I started running. I ran faster and faster and faster every other day in my 5k time. I started at 53:00, then 50:00 then 46:00 then 42:00 then something weird happened... just a week in I hit 34:00... quite a jump. The next week I was down to 31:00 then 30:00, 29:00, 28:00 then back up to 33:00. I got extremely discouraged. I don't know why I was so hard on myself I pushed myself to go faster and I was on a pace to finish in just 25:00, 2 tries later. I made it 2.2 miles in at around 17:30 and I got a text message, I slowed to a walk [I felt totally fine] and answered that text. When I finished typing I couldn't force myself to run as much as I wanted to. My body told me bog off and I had to finish walking. It was insane I completely ran out of gas. The next few days I didn't even want to run. I went out there and did it anyway. I had slower times, but in 2 more weeks I was still going faster and faster.

I feel like sometimes you jump in with both feet and the beginning gains are great. It's easy to stick with it. The hard part comes later when you run into plateaus and when things slow down to a crawl.

If you want to succeed you have to wake up the next day and do the thing that you don't want to do every single day.

Or in this case, just don't do it. That's my own experience and how I have dealt with it. Good luck!
