Hey MW! I decided to start a journal just like you. I am including pages from my old journal that led me to my 278 day streak. You should check it out.

I'm doing hard mode for 90 days but I don't plan on repressing my sexuality forever.

I am committed to celibacy and semen retention. If I remove orgasms from my life I find that I am physically stronger and mentally at peace.

I'm committed to 90 days, completely orgasm free. I've got a long way to go, but so far so good. I'm feeling great. I'm interested in going further after the 90 days. Wish me luck!

I think it's a matter of choice how you look at it. Personally, I'm trying to avoid wet dreams as well.

    Great job bro.

I'm going for 90 days hard mode. After that I might start having sex. But as for now I am dedicated to hard mode.

I've had an opportunity to have sex with a really hot girl. Like, the hottest girl I've probably convinced to talk to me. I actually picked her up and sat her down and told her no [NSFW]as she was sitting on top of me trying to rip my pants off[/NSFW]. I rejected an 8-10 basically, when my average girl is about a 7. That was hard to do. I am glad I did it though. As we are not talking now and it seems like it is for the best.

However, I feel that I inspired her to give up sex for a while and admit she has a problem. So that could be something positive that came out of our interaction. I was not pushing for this, and she came up with the decision on her own. I will never tell anyone what to do with their sexuality. I can only speak from my experience and my pain.

Anyway, I am having urges today but I'm very close to my goal and I do not want to jeopardize anything. I felt terrible after my 35 day collapse (this is VanillaMochi btw) and relapsing on all of my addictions took a really hard toll on me. I bounced back, but for a few weeks it was very dark. I could only imagine how I would feel relapsing now. I do not want to know that feel.

Okay, TL;DR keep up the good work.

I'm going to start working on my physical body now. It's never something I planned to do, but knew I had to do eventually. I am not passionate about it as you might be for weight lifting and BB etc but I feel as though I could get a solid work out plan in place. I do want to get blasted, with a bunch of tattoos though, and I definitely want to be cut/in-shape for that.

    Take care. All the best!

I honestly don't think there is much a point to sex other than reproducing. The only reason it feels good is because we were programmed that way for survival. People putting rubber things on their genitals and taking pills so they can have that experience over and over is very unnatural, but it has become so "normal" in our society. In a way you can say that everybody is addicted to sex.

  11. Celabacy is my goal as well while abstaining from PMO. Mainly because I never seen sex as that important in my life. To me, a relationship with a strong element of friendship with a women is what I hope for, a soulmate if you will.

Would you mind sharing some of your experiences while embarking on this?

  14. Would this cover any sexual attraction you feel towards women? What about purely platonic relationships?

I think positive social contact is more important than sex, but that's just my opinion.

  15. Anyone else interested in "spiritual marriages" where you're in a relationship but not having sex? I've been thinking if this might not be something for me.

Mmm, an interesting proposition! Maybe this would be possible if you can find someone you don't feel physically attracted to - perhaps of a different sexual orientation.

  17. You can read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiritual_marriage

Obviously fundamentalist Mormons aren't the best example of this, but I do think it could be a satisfying way to live. If both partners have low libidos, or if they both are interested in each other romantically but not sexually. And of course for asexuals.

Sexual suppresion is obviously not the goal.
    Sexual sublimation is the goal.
Thank you for your open-mindedness though.

    You
I think you're talking about people trying to be celibate just like that.
    They are suppressing their sexuality.
Not sublimating it with intense, regular spiritual practise and practise of truth, non-violence etc.

Plus. I have to disagree with your claim that your sexuality is you.
Sexuality is only of the mind and body.
You are neither this mind nor are you the body.

But maybe your experience may have been true for you.
Lets all do what we feel best.

Was the 'precious' book you read 'Practice of Brahmacharya' by Swami Sivananda? :)
