Chat rooms are my weakness also. They seem powerfully addicitive.

 

Its ok if its not "sex" chat. If it is then you are basically substituting porn with sth else.

If its casual chat then I see nothing wrong with that except if it consumes unrealistic amount of your time.

 

i have the same issue, but i have clearly noticed that the more i continue on nofap journey, the urges are getting way less and more controllable. Also important to involve yourself n other activities

 

Is amazing how this addiction will find some avenue for us to get are fix.

 

Yes, I see chat rooms as p-subs - as a direct way to get turned on to masturbate. Chatting can be an intimate act - sharing something erotic with another person. But, for me, it is definitely unhealthy and counterproductive.
