I'm circumcised - I had it done due to my diabetes and infections of the urinal tract coming along with this - and the procedure was very painful. After the operation I got the impression that there was a loss of sensation, and I pegged it to my circumcision. I'm still not entirely sure whether being cut contributes to loss of sensation or not. Maybe it's a combination of being cut, masturbating too much, and overloading my brain with porn. Any way, since I'm also suffering from ED, I'm not counting on any quick recovery based on PMO - but I'm doing it anyways, because even if it doesn't improve things, it won't make it worse either.

  2. I am circumcised and wish I wasn't. I found as a teenager that the pure physical sensations were not enough to get over the edge to climax, so I used mental stimulation to do that. Of course, the mental stimulation was porn.

When I had my circumcision done, I was extremely sensitive at first. I could hardly walk because just the friction of my legs moving was almost too much. I had regular - quite unwanted and uncomfortable - boners, but after about 6 months everything dulled and ever since physical stimulation doesn't seem to be enough. I always had to help along to get to a climax and my wife told me on several occasions how unusual it seems to her that I'm so rough with myself. No idea if this is going to change.

Rough is definitely an issue. I think this is more realistic impacts in my life than many of the other ideas of possible influences. (There are ways to combat that though. and if you want to discuss it let me know.) For now, it sounds like you've jumped into the circumcision route though. I hope your healing comes well. I will offer this, I found that something that is very important (possible due to my age, or maybe always was) is the idea of maintain the foreskin. For that I used a heave moisturizing cream to keep the skin protected from drying out, and allow it to heal from all the roughness I have had in the past. (I'm currently using a good one that comes highly recommended called 'man1 man oil'.) It's supposed to have some vitamins and other components that are topically absorbed. If your circumcision is still raw, I don't know that you want to apply anything, but sounds like it's been 6 months at least. I would recommend you do this right away. I apply twice a day, because I'm trying to heal and I spend hours in the time where I'm worried that perspiration might be causing it to break down, but once a day after a shower/bathing is usually good for maintaining). I've also used 'gold bonds -healing forumla'. I can see the skin changing to a smooth texture, and the sensations feel better (but this could also be because of my reboot)
