    It turns on your lizard brain. If you are trying to drop PMO, drop coffee first. You will have it way easier, probably you will lose all interest in pron and masturbation. Replace your habit with books. If you drop coffee, PMO and add books (GOOD books like history of the world, your country, something wide), You will literally transform from animal in cage to elite unit of the world.

    Do you have any scientific backup for your assumption of caffeine being so dangerous?

    I consume 3 legal drugs and those I consume on a daily, high basis: alcohol (beer), caffeine (coffee) and nicotine (e-cigarettes).

    I'm totally dependent on my daily dose of coffee and e-cigarettes, but only alcohol is the one drug that ruins me and worsens my PMO addiction. I think if I'd drop caffeine, I'd just increase my consumption of alcohol and nicotine which are both much more physical harmful.

    Guys, which coffee beans do you like the most? I recently tried Lavazza Super Crema Coffee Beans and it was awesome, most likely it's my favorite product.
    And here, coffee and masturbation, I have not seen such a stupid connection yet. I know many people who drink coffee, and they don't masturbate and especially don't watch pornography. If you judge by yourself, that's nonsense because all people are different, and caffeine and pornography are not related in any way. Many athletes drink coffee to give their bodies a boost of energy in the morning, and they drink several cups a day. Does this mean that they depend on pornography and watch it every day?! What nonsense are you talking about, Lord? At least you check the information before you write it.

    Excellent point.
    All substance addictions (including coffee) will weaken your mind, make it a servant of your body / the sensations it gets from substance.
    When striving for NoFap, keep in mind that it's also a journey for your mind to take control over your body and its need for sensations.

    The loss of willpower and self-control is caused by submitting to the sense objects (coffee, cigarettes, alcohol, sex, etc). One must change the order of this procedure to develop its inner strength. Make your senses serve you, not the other way around.

  14. I quit caffeine and sugar at the beginning of this reboot.

    I started taking long breaks from drinking coffee during my first reboot in 2018.

    The way I reacted to being off of coffee was unexpected. First, I just didn't need so much sleep.
    If I went to bed between 9pm-11pm, I would always wake up, without
    an alarm, around 5 am.

    And when I wake up at 5 am, I'm not groggy or bleary. I'm thinking as
    a person does in the middle of the day, with clarity.

    The other good thing being off of coffee is that my energy shoots up.

    It's so weird how the world thinks that coffee gives them energy.

    I'm convinced that it's the placebo effect. They think it gives them energy,
    so it does. Now I know better.

    People BELIEVE coffee gives them energy, so they decide to ACT like they have energy. But the truth is that it stimulates dopamine, which makes them tired and lethargic.

    So they could just as easily go back to sleep after drinking coffee, but because of their delusion they think they are more alert or more awake. What they are doing is fighting more sleepiness
    because they NEED to be awake.

    That is the only reason why coffee works, which is not because of coffee itself.

    Anybody who goes off will find out that I'm right.

    But if somebody wants to drink a cup once or twice a month, just to chill out,
    that's not a big deal, I don't have a problem with that.

    Three cups a day, every single day and into the afternoon and night, that's bad.

    Just my own opinion.
