Cold Shower

    Hi guys! So I live in the Philippines where shower doesn't get cold.

    What I do is I use ice cubes and put it on water. Is it a good substitute to cold shower? What other things can you recommend?

    So do I. I live in Indonesia, so I use ice and cold water from freezer.

    The point of a cold shower is to put you in a position where you are in no danger but your mind and body are screaming that you are. This is in some ways similar and more extreme than a sexual urge... and so it's excellent practice. There are of course other nice side effects too.
    I live pretty far north but even here the water is not nearly as cold in the summer. Also I have been considering increasing the frequency. As the effect wears off in a few hours. Maybe an ice bucket is a good option.
