    What's up guys.
I've been aware of the dangers of PMO for about 2 years now thanks to a buddy of mine. The struggle has been real since i've never managed to make a month! I've never given up the fight but I can't ever manage to "get a new grip on life". I am however able to maintain a little streak my longest being 25 days. I've done that twice, and it was the easiest streak ever! The first time was being extremely busy all the time. The second streak was being so upset at myself after downloading "brainbuddy" for Iphone. It does a porn addiction test which resulted in me being 71% more addicted to porn than most. I have to say brainbuddy does help and the first 25 day streak after using that was easy. I avoided all types of dopamine releasing activities such as: music, tv, and video games. My only source of pleasure was social interaction and the gym (which I love to do anyway). Needless to say once that streak broke I couldn't manage to get back up there. I've had streaks anywhere from 3-10 days since, and after my recent relapse I've decided to join the community. My goal right now Is to break my longest streak and achieve my 30 day badge on brainbuddy.
I look forward to reaching new heights with you guys!

Well, relapsing on day 31 would be a success? New heights would be the counter in your profile? How about experiencing a happiness you might not have felt in all your life before?
Too many came to become the heroes of abstinence, and have already disappeared. To get rid of addiction to me is more than counting the days.

If what you are saying the streak doesn't matter and it's about what you do with yourself during that time, I agree totally. My problem with that is even though i'm progressing physically, and mentally my streaks usually start on a very high sense of awareness and caution of PMO which tends to fade as my streak goes on "Oh one peek wouldn't hurt"..... 30 days isn't the ultimate goal but it's a short term goal after 30 then 90 then 180 then 360
I agree getting rid of addiction is more than just counting the days, its replacing the bad habits with new more fulfilling ones.
Thanks for your insight though sometimes you get caught up on one aspect you forget about everything else.
