    Hi,

Im constantly thinking of something related to NoFap, thoughts and struggles related to this. There is almost no day that goes by that im not thinking about this. And i feel it's get to much and effect me negative. I also dwell on the past.

I try to stay occupied, but even out socializing or doing a hobby i sometimes think about this. Fear of failing, fear of not improving, will i ever be cured etc etc. Maybe i think of this to much because it's important and effecting my life so much (my sexual health is bad, ED,)

Do you guys have any tips on how to be more relaxed and not let your mind think about this?

    Thanks

  2. Wow, I feel like I could have written your post. I honestly wish I could give you great tips or advice, but I am willing to bet you already know a ton of possible ways. If you have not discussed ED with a doctor, well, you should. There's no shame in that and you don't have to give all the details in the world.
We all dwell on the past, that's natural. But you know you need to begin thinking about the future as well. Accept your past. You can't alter it but you can begin to create a better future for yourself. Thank goodness you are still young enough to make important and healthy changes in your life.
I really believe you are aware of what you need to do, you just need some reassurance right now. You are good. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for your reply and encouraging comment! I've been thinking about see a doctor but i want to try abstain from PMO for a long time wich i've never managed to do. I actually went when i was younger (~21), the doctor just wrote out ED medicin and didn't ask any question. The healthcare industry should be educated on this addication and it's
    consequences.

And you are right, since im doing this alone it's nice to reach out to someone and get some reassurance to keep going, thank you!

My advice: stop fighting your thoughts.
If u fill your mind with love and gratitude , thoughts that are bothering you will fade away on their own.
Resistance will only make them stronger.
As for ED , i would try hardmode ( at least 6 months -year) before considering any medication.
Medications always come with side effects.

Thanks for your comment. Yes that is my problem, my mind is weak and allways trying to make a problem of something that i think many wouldn't consider as a problem. But i feel my mind is working against me alot of times. My emotions can easily be affected by something outside.

For instance today i was searching for something that was related to NoFap subject (flatline) on a page that was talking about this. However there was a image of a old man that got caught surfing p. And that somehow triggered my emotions very badly, i think it triggered bad memories and i got scared that i saw bad material. I got anxiety wich i haven't had in a long time. I was with a friend and the anxiety hit hard and i feel dizzy.

I feel my mind is weak and i want to strenghten it.

  6. Man, from all of your replies, I am doubting your weakness. I simply feel you are being too hard on yourself. Learn all you can about addictions in general. I can only speak for myself, but doing this has been the most important factor in my journey away from PMO. Knowledge is powerful and provides motivation. You can do it. Do not say you are weak. You are not.

    Start slow. Be patient.
It takes a bit of time.
Fill your mind with positive affirmations all day long.

Feeling horny is important because it makes the body stronger and having painful erections, blue balls are part of recovery process. NO PAIN=NO GAIN. Ain't, no comfort about journey. Get used to be uncomfortable if you want to be successful.

You'll always have fear of failure/not improving in every worthwhile thing you do. Try to have your actions speak louder than your fears, if you're giving something your all and seeking different approaches when you have a setback, it is impossible for you to be truly "failing" or "not improving".

Hey Brother hang in there. I know all to well those feelings of anxiety about the past. Porn is so destructive to the present and in our mind of the past but it doesn’t have to be in the future. You are a brave man to share your worries here. You are not alone in this hombre.

Thank you!! I hope the future brings less of a struggle and that i dont fear this anymore. But i guess it's a long road, but when you've done something half your life it not suppose to be easy.

Thank you! I've noticed i get new struggles along the way, like the the fear and anxiety part. But that's a good advice, to not give in and do the right and hopefully the fear with time will decrease.
