A friend of mine and I held each other accountable at the turn of the new year for the 90 day challenge. We are nearly at the halfway mark and thought it would be a good idea to plan in advance how we should approach our relationship to PMO after the 90 day mark.

So far we've found the experience fluctuating but not so terrible. I personally haven't really had deep troughs, but I've definitely had days where the libido is so overwhelming that I have had trouble focusing.

I think both of us agree that P is insidious and toxic so we are thinking of removing that from our lives permanently (responsible P use doesn't exist...). However, we are increasingly inclined to think MO to relieve the pressure build-up once in a while might not be a bad idea? (This is the first topic for discussion/advice.)

Another question we have is: does the dynamic of abstinence change in the long run? Does the exaggerated increase/depressed libido cycle start to wane over time? Is there a certain steady state that is reached after a long period of abstinence? (This is the second topic of discussion/advice, and would impact the topic above.)

I would be very grateful if you could share your thoughts/advice.

Just don't PM at all. M is a slippery slope back down the trail, especially for people who've always associated it with P (basically everyone on nofap)

Either have sex with real partners or abstain. This is a guarantee that you'll never go back to your old habits. At the end of the day Ming is degenerate too, that's why there were religious punishments in the past for it and there are derogatory terms associated with it.

Also, you don't need to 'relieve pressure'. This happens naturally through wet dreams. You need to remember people go their entire lives abstaining and never have issues at all.

Congrats on halfway to 90 days my man, keep at it. Your future self will thank you.
