    Is there really a way out of this nonsense?
    Every time, I promise myself that I'm going to have a long streak but I always end up relapsing few days after. Can I really recover from this addiction?

    There's no easy way to success I guess.
    I'm really struggling with isolation. This has been the main cause of most of my relapses this year. 2022 is very near and I'm really scared that I will continue fapping into next year.

    My last streak was 19 days. Since then it has been difficult to go past 11 days. Since I moved in with a new roommate, it has been very difficult. My roommate is never around except in the evenings and at night. So I'm always left alone except when I need to go out for class or other important things. When I'm alone, it's so easy to pick up the phone and watch porn. This is where the problem is. Isolation!!!
    It's so easy to just say "Get out then!" but I'm somehow introverted and I seem to love been lonely.
    I don't even know what to say. I just need HELP.

    I really want to write something that will help you. Truth is that I'm so early in the journey myself that I'm really no expert. Even if it's difficult could you try and force yourself to be in public places more? If you need to do things on the computer you could take it to a library or a cafe and spend a few hours there while your roommate is out. Go for walks to get away from the house and get exercise which should help. Try and make nofap a very high priority in your life... maybe even your highest priority since its making you so unhappy. If something is high priority then you will take action like leaving the house (even if it makes you feel uncomfortable) as you have made it so important in your mind. I have managed to quit caffeine which is helping. For me at least drinking coffee and then sitting around at home where there's nowhere to release the energy = disaster!

    Can't really believe I am giving advice as this 16 days is the longest I've ever gone except some situations like holidays where I had very limited access to a computer and was around other people lots. Signing up to the forum which I only did at the start of this streak seems to be helping. I really really don't want to write a post saying I've relapsed. And I've told myself if I do relapse I have to post about it so the fear of doing that is helping.

    You've recently gone 8 days and then 5 days (i think) so thats already a huge improvement on everyday!! Keep going, you will get there!

    I get it. I have to make nofap my biggest priority even if it means I have to be spending more time outside.
    I know that this is my main problem but I haven't really made any commitment to spend less time indoors. I have to start working on this. I know that 95% of my relapses are in the morning, so I'll make a commitment to leave my residence every morning especially days when there are no classes.

    Day 30 here. I'm amazed I've got this far... still feel I could slip up any time though. Gotta stay focused and make it to 40!

    The semester ended and I traveled home to spend time with my family and I didn't even think of opening this website.

    Thanks. I haven't logged in for a while either, been really busy moving house. Just logged in today to check my counter. Im amazed I'm on 53 days! It feels like it's getting easier. Yesterday I had strong urges for P but somehow I knew I wasn't going to look at it. It wasn't even a case of resisting really. Just tried to think of other things and after a while it passed. I hope to get to 90 days next. But I just read a post from someone who's longest streak is 84 days so I mustn't be complacent! Everyday is a new challenge!

    So I made it past 10 days. I don't even remember the last time I made it to this level. Currently on day 12 and things seem to be going well. I intentionally avoided nofap for some days now. It's not because it's useless or anything like that. It's just that I was tired of reading motivational posts and not making any change myself. So I decided to do something about my number one cause of relapse, isolation. I set a very strict schedule for myself and it's designed to keep me away from my room especially when my roommate isn't around. I made it simple and realistic.
    I knew it would be tough to follow this schedule so I went home for some time just to have a taste of another environment and I started following the schedule from home. It made things easier when I got to school.
