For what? From the perspective of evolution and genes' survival it would be really stupid for sex to be there for any other reason. You see it wouldn't benefit the genes that construct us. It takes a lot of energy to first develop organs for sex and then to use them for useless pleasure is stupid (or whatever thing they are meant for in your opinion). Secondly the act itself makes you vunelrable and takes energy. Where is the gain for anyone ( for our genes especially because they dictate our construction)?
