Has anyone ever experienced CPPS, either as a result of pornography, or something else?
I've been doing NoFap for a year now, and after a 233 day streak had a reboot 2 months ago. (Without any kind of pornography, I haven't seen any pornographic material since I first started) However, recently I have been experiencing what I believe to be the symptoms of CPPS, or at the very least, extreme stress from work and school.

Personally, the symptoms I've experienced are tightness in my lower back and pelvic floor, frequent urination, aches, and "hard flaccid" (where the muscles in the flaccid penis contract and make it feel erect in it's flaccid state). For a long time, these were the only symptoms but in the past week I've had extreme difficulty getting it up at all. I eat very healthily and have abstained from sexual activity so I'm fairly certain it's not a UTI. For anyone who has suffered these symptoms, have you made any progress defeating them? Were they porn/problematic sexual behavior induced?

I cannot afford to see a doctor at this time, and it seems like there is a lot of misinformation about this condition. My genitals are the last thing I want to be affected by any condition, so I would really appreciate any information on how to beat CPPS and Hard Flaccid. I've done some stretches but I'm still suffering from HF and ED.

I empathise with you, these kinds of symptoms are consistent with a few possible problems so its hard to figure out which one it is. I'm no expert by any means but off the top of my head it is most likely either lingering symptoms of sexual exhaustion, which even after a long streak it could still be, or your body becoming super sensitive as a result of said streak. It is also possible that it is just anxiety or stress, or some other more serious health issue (but most likely not.)

As for what to do about it? Well, I dont have all the answers. However, I think the issue with NoFap that I am starting to realise after doing it for years, is that when you reboot, that usually isnt enough. You need to reboot INTO something else otherwise its very possible to put yourself in a limbo state where you arent addicted to PMO anymore but you also cant become physically aroused to real stuff either. As a 21 year old man, your body wants you to be having sex and obviously that is not something you can just do, so when you dont do it, and you dont masturbate either, your body doesnt know what to do, and it can cause weird things like this to flare up.

In your case, it seems like you are capable of masturbating without using porn. If this is true, and I'm not mistaken, then maybe you should masturbate every once in a while just to reattune yourself to your sexuality. This should only be attempted if you are absolutely confident you can manage it, if you arent, then dont. Beyond that, keep doing what you are already doing, and see a doctor when you can afford it.

You hit the nail on the head there brother. There are so many possible factors that it's definitely difficult to weed the correct ones. I was reading that sometimes these muscle issues in the genital area can be caused by not enough masturbation, but I also read from other sources that it in fact can make it worse. (Something with muscle exhaustion and testosterone production afterwards relating to libido etc.) My libido has been fluctuating a lot along with these symptoms so what you said about the limbo between PMO and total abstinence could definitely be part of it. I'm going to target my posture and the stressors in my life first, since my body producing cortisol over testosterone + stress related muscle tension is a very likely cause. If it persists I'll try to look into medical care + ED treatments (since the ED seems to come and go) Thanks for the advice brah.

Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome, a lot of issues can stem from hyperactive muscles in the pelvic floor

Watching porn won't make you develop Hard Flaccid or anything like that, it builds up with time, how does it affect your sex life?
