I’ve stated before my addiction to porn is also connected to my addiction to vaping. The two activities go hand in hand for me so this process is what feels next to impossible. I do the two activists simultaneously so it’s become more-so a chemical dependency. Not only do I have what I believe to be PIED, the nicotine has also weakened my arousal. As of today I’ve reached the point of feeling pretty much dead down there- as if there’s nothing to stimulate and that’s what brought me here.

My PMO rituals are what gets me out of bed every day, it’s often the first thing I do when I wake up and the last thing I do before I sleep. It’s the thing that is my hope and joy throughout the day. Whenever I’m at work, all I do is think about that time when I get home and can binge watch P until 2 am and I am relieved and feel a deep sense of ease. I turn down plans, avoid family, roommates, and (lost) friends so I could O quickly. So without these two, I am lost, and I guess that’s the point of a reboot.

If my mind isn’t clouded with the distraction of P being there for me to shut out everything in life -who am I, how do I cope? I would like to get to that place. I think my PMO/vaping addiction has blocked my development in relationships and life in general. I don’t have any passions, people I know always want to know what I do in my spare time and it’s truly just to watch P any second I can, it’s all I care about. I’ve given up taking on a hobby or exploring life outside of discovering new explicit content- I spend about 4-5 hours a day watching P; if I spent the time I do watching P towards other things in life I’d probably have extreme success in a beneficial space in my life.

  2. Smoking stimulates all sorts of addictions , it stimulates the CNS and causes stress it also increases boredom and irritability, and overeating , drinking and pmo are used to counteract the boredom and stress and only make everything worse , nicotine stimulates the CNS and by doing so stimulates other potential addictions

  3. Congrats on first building the strength to tell your story and get to the realization that your PMO is running and ruining your life. There is hope and there is a road in front of you now that leads out of addiction. It helped me immensely to focus purely on growth in the beginning rather than obsess over getting streaks of days with NoFap. This can lead to what I call the long cycle, where you refrain from PMO just long enough to lose your tolerance to graphic content, and then binge for long periods of time which makes it extremely hard to break the cycle. So a growth only mindset is my suggestion. If you are reducing harmful PMO behavior but have not yet fully kicked it, even if you can’t go a full day, you are growing.

Good luck and stick with it now that you’re here!

Believe me, addiction to porn is 100 times safer than addiction to nicotine ... I myself went through this a few years ago. I first tried cigarettes at age 15 and I liked that shit. I smoked for a very long period of time, but then I realized that I had serious lung problems and decided to stop but it was extremely difficult ... As a result, after consulting with a doctor, I decided to try vaping because I did not want to start the recovery process in the clinic. I started looking for vaping liquids and came across one very cool vapeshop with a large assortment of liquids with and without nicotine. I smoked a vape for a long time and over time I began to lose dependence on cigarettes you can not even imagine how happy I was !!

I got addicted to smoking, and I tried to get out of it for many years, but I couldn`t. It`s like you stop eating. A friend of mine recommended me to use the vape because it would help me to stop smoking. Well, I didn`t believe it at first till I saw the results. If you try a different liquid like fresh, you won`t need to smoke again for a few hours.
