I liked the visualization! I'm single and alone most of the time, but my taunt to others and myself (somewhat as a joke) was, 'I'm King of my life'!
It has a profound meaning, while instilling a sense of power and control in a light-hearted way.
Not feeling good right now, but I'm still the fucking King of my life!

for the first say 2 weeksish i had some big urges and felt like my libido was super high. ive read that its common symptom early on. after 2 weeks i hit a flatline so i had no libido whatsoever for a while.

to answer ur second question in 2 words: it depends.

if ur a severe addict like me who watched it almost daily and resorted to escalating to more stimulating content, and also have been watching for 5+ years. then ur gnna normally expect up to a total reboot time of 12-15 months realistically. this is severe cases. after about 6 months u will notice significant benefits. and ur gnna go thru many ups and downs along the way.
gabe deem, the founder of reboot nation had a similar reboot as mine and required 15 months till he was 100%

    however
ive heard plenty of ppl who had more milder moderate addictions who recovered in 90 days.

so it really depends. just ask urself wherr ur at honestly and be willing to accept whatevrr duration ur required.

@Mateo89 I've been browsing some of your posts and found many of them really insightful. I noticed that you started this thread at an 8 month streak, but your counter has you at 179 days a few months later. Does that mean you relapsed at some point? If so, what's your experience of relapse? How do you prevent it from becoming too demoralizing? Does it take as long to recover the benefits of abstaining from PMO when you relapse after a long streak?

Also, is the "alphamale" Kik group you mentioned still active? I searched for and found one with that name, but it doesn't seem like the right one -- there's some questionable/triggering profile photos there.

How many wet dreams did you have? Did you ejaculate bcs of them? Did you try to stop your wet dreams? If yes, how did you stop them?

Would you mind providing a timeline of your journey? For example, when did the flatlines begin and end, the withdrawals, neuroplasticity changes, etc.

Would be very helpful for those of us who are ambitious but haven't made it past 30 days.

    Thanks!

hi sorry to bother you just have a few questions if that's okay.
    1. my longest streak was a month then i just got 10 days and both times have been because of hot women in TV/games do you recommend abstaining from them or some way of controlling them?
2.what ways helped you get clean
    3. I've realised i don't get many urges anymore just triggers that trick my brain into thinking i should how would you advise stopping these?

    Hey Garvey,
    Thanks for the question,
I did have a relapse somewhere after 8 months. It was after a night of drinking and was an MO (I quit drinking and clubbing after that by the way).

I do remember being pretty bummed about it initially. But being 8 months clean, you sort of develop this blueprint of discipline or mental reference so to speak. From months and months of habitually changing my thought patterns, and refraining from pmo, this framework stuck around even after that 1 relapse and I was able to get myself back on track very quickly.

Not only that, but I left off pretty much where I started off; didnt really lose any progress. So to answer your question, the recovery becomes shorter and less pronounced the more "healed" you are.

Relapsing is part of the process, were only human, and changing a 8 year daily habit isnt just going to be a straight arrow. Took me about a year and a half before I was able to get to the 8 month streak I did. Long as you have progress, thats what matters.

    Alphamale is still active.

PM me your KIK user name and il add you

Never had issues with wet dreams. Ive had *sexual* dreams but thats about it, wake up aroused etc.

A method u can use is de escalation.
Dont allow it to escalate. I normally use a couple of affirmations such as
    *STOP IT* *NOPE* etc.

I mean its a bitch to do in the beginning but after a while it becomes automatic.

    1. I stopped watching tv and especially anything provacative. R Rated stuff, music videos etc.

    2. Preventative measures, willpower, affirmations, having goals

    3. Remember why u started. I keep these reasons close by me all the time. When i read them i get my framework back into place. Staying focused is a constant work u gotta put in. Soon as u let ur guard down ur mind wanders.

  15. Any update Mateo?

If you tell me I would go through those though things in my reboot, I wouldn't believe until I experience it myself. This is not a joke! 7 years addicted and I had to hit rock bottom also to get to 90 days and still going....

I'm on my 65th day. Every day is an uphill battle. I don't feel the extreme self-confidence yet. Am I doing something wrong? I do have a gf and I occasionally O with her. Could this be the one reason why I haven't felt the huge surge?
