Daily Check-in

"Choose you THIS DAY whom you will serve, as for me and my house (my temple, my body)I will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15 It is a daily choice we have to make. One of the lies I believed was I could overcome this addition to MO by myself. I have come to the realization I needed to be honest that I cannot do this alone. Because I am a pastor, I was, and to a point still am, fearful of what would happen if those around me found out about this, so I isolated myself. Thankfully I have two other pastors that serve with me and I opened up to them about this and they have embraced me and one of the others also admitted that he struggled with this as well, so I have two very strong men in my life right now that are committed to loving me, accepting me, even in my weakness, and have committed to holding me accountable. For that I am very grateful. I hope that everyone of us can find that same environment and people to come along side of us. Thank you Loren for your post.
