Daily goals: The 'feels' method

    Been thinking lot's about daily goals. I've tried both time methods (meditate 1 hour, work 6 hours) and objective methods (do twenty push ups, write 4,000 words).

    I've recently been experimenting with what I call a 'feels' method.

    Everyday I try too:
    - Meditate until I feel it's effects and am ready to face the day
    - Exercise until I feel well exercised and its had an effect
    - Work until I feel I have accomplished something with my day
    - Socialise until I feel my relationships have improved

    So far its been working great. Some days you might hit only one or two of these feelings. Other days you hit all four and have a completely fantastic day.

    Either way I feel I am achieving more setting daily goals this way than setting them using time or objectives.

    Hm...this is a very interesting notion. I'll try doing this on stretches of "free time" and if I remember I'll let you know how it goes! (Specifically thinking about the meditation).
