  1. I have tried quiting porn in the past , I failed due to lack of knowledge, but nofap community gave a complete knowledge about the addiction and science behind the behavior, this helped me understand more about my behaviors and I almost feel like I already quit the porn .

It is also necessary to have two to three challenges along with the PMO challenge, as it strengthen your brain .

Like I have started to meditate for 5 minutes, my brain fights back when I sit for meditation due to previous wiring, it is important fight this brain a little everyday, because it slowly rewires the brain and you become stronger in suppressing brains craving, which is a very important factor in quitting porn as you grow stronger everyday you can fight small urges of porn .

I remember how difficult meditation was for me as I really struggle with keeping still. I had to start out with 2 minutes which was torture, few weeks later and that has increased to 15 minutes. Small victories along the way and you will do great! I'd definitely recommend starting a Challenge in the Events section of this forum. It makes the reboot more enjoyable and gives you accountability.

    Best of luck!

  3. You are right, when you fight back your brain even for a second, that will rewires your brain , never underestimate the power of small habits like meditating for 1 minutes.

I actually started like 30 seconds everyday, now I am doing 3 minutes without any problem,

  5. Heyyy welcome to the NoFap forum : ) It's nice to see you here fighting the good fight alongside us!

    Here is just some advice:

First and foremost please take a look at each section in the forum, there might be something(s) you may find of big help to you. Feel free to post there :+)

Then secondly I just strongly advise you to be active on your profile(as there quite a few active people in the profile section). Please start by choosing an avatar and then make daily status posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement. They've also got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see. People will find your profile and give you encouragement/support.

People (are beginning to) love communicating in the profile section..(it should be and is )mostly spportive talk but it doesn't hurt to deviate from supportive talk. It would be great to have you join in and support others in the threads, profiles, and journal, we could always use your help and in return you shall receive some as well!

Thirdly, You should also highly consider creating a public journal and write about your days in more depth for us members to follow along your journey and offer support to you by way of posting in your journal.

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!
