I have actually not noticed many of the said "benefits" from these 29 days. Anyone who experienced the benefits during the second month? I need something to look forward to. Maybe I have been addicted so long that benefits come after 2 months? . I will definitely complete a month and want to do a lot more. Any motivation is appreciated.

Please let me know your thoughts.

I honestly think it depends on the level of each person's addiction. The worse the addiction, the better the benefits (IMO... based on no evidence whatsoever!)

hmmm...but I believe the benefits do show up, as there are physical changes in the brain. It just sucks that there is no well defined timeline though.

No benefits at all?Not even in your mood? How severe was your addiction?

I guess so my man. But physical changes in the brain must be doing something, let's see what it does.

I challenge you to make 2 months before me.

My benefits would be 'lower end' things like:-
    • Generally feeling better about myself
    • A little bit more energy
    • A little more motivated to get things done
Just no sign of the 'superpowers'

Yeah same here. I feel a lot less guilty in general. But nothing which seemed like a miracle like concentration or confidence.

I’ve being 16 days and while I have some bad days for me I’m a lot more confident a lot more motivated and I have a lot more energy. Now, I cycle and I go to the gym, I try to do it every day so that helps. Also I have been at this for probably four months and I guess I’ve got some benefits because my PMO went to maybe once a week and now I’m 16 days so hopefully I’m in my way. The key for me has been putting blockers on my phone and and iPad. There are some difficult times during some days though.

Hmm. I am more tired everyday now than I was one month back. That is the weird part. I feel a lot calmer though no matter how bad the chaos in my life is :)

One thing I have noticed is that some days the urge is so strong that no blocker can stop it. But hey, if it works for you , then go for it. Let's fight this war together man. I have been at this for 8 years. Trust me when I say, never let your guard down, not even on day 365 or day 500. This is a way of life, something like going to the gym. Think of it this way, the entire willpower you would use for a session at the gym, you are using it to keep yourself aware not to fap or think about porn. It takes a lot out of you, do not underestimate it.
