This is truly inspiring man, not only talking about quitting P and O but in every possible sense, slow clap.

  2. I believe once we accomplish our own demons it then becomes our duty to help others. It is our debt so to speak.

I rarely write about my religion as everything I say then falls under that filter. I want everyone to read and be uplifted regardless of my religion. You don't need faith in anything but yourself to conquer this issue.

Thanks. This issue isn't an isolated one. If we want to become athletic we must train and eat right, the same goes for bad habits being righted through small successes in every area of life. We start by putting the cap on the toothpaste each and every time.

Man, your post really changed my life, yesterday I walked for 4 hours and ate just salad and whole rice, you made me give up all my bad habits, all my living in a room, all my eating constantly ice cream, all my being a robot.
    Thanks, deeply.

  4. Well of course I am glad to hear my rubbish words are making sense. If a simple post written on the spot has helped you, I can't imagine what would happen if you read my 3 short ebooks.

This is really motivational, it helps us to understand that our life is negatively affected by PMO. I'm here for the long haul at NoFap but I feel free already. Free from my previous lifestyle before I stopped PMO. BTW I read that anyone who is heavily addicted to lots of porn. When they are brain scanned, the x-ray lights up like a christmas tree very similar to a heroine addicts brain. After 6 months a heroine addicts brain is still lit up a lot and it takes about a full year before their brain looks close to normal. I think it can take some of us more than 1 year to be fully cured of a porn addiction. We can be free from day 1 as long as we keep fighting, eventually our porn addicted mind will become normal again. Keep fighting bros, peace.

  13. You speak from the heart and are obviously a genuine person. But make no mistake, this is not an addiction. Your brain is your tool, don't let it fool you.

I agree Solid, we have complete control over our actions. If we have changed our mindset and no longer want to masturbate and watch porn, we can stop ourselves. We are responsible for all our actions. I must say though that our Willpower is something that we must strengthen to make it easier on ourselves to stop being tempted by our urges. A much stronger Willpower comes overtime, it isn't something we just get overnight. Our subconscious mind will try to trick us into doing something that is bad for us, we must keep fighting and we will get less urges that can negatively affect ourselves. Your status says over 340 days clean, congrats man. Is that no porn and nofap for over 340 days? Just wondering because to get the best results, both is required. Some of the NoFap community also avoid women but I wouldn't avoid sex but i'm single right now. Peace

That's excellent Solid. I am thinking i'll do this on hard mode myself. I watched a documentary recently called Tyger Takes On... It's what made me want to finally not just quit porn but do NoFap.

Beautiful post. Absolutely loved it. You talked about the central theme behind these addictions. Addictions are like the tip of the iceberg. There is always a deep rooted reason behind the obvious symptoms. Without treating the core issue, it's impossible to heal. Holistic development in all the spheres of life is very important. Also, couldn't agree more on the issue of watching and jerking to shit. Though it's called adult video, but in reality, there is nothing adult about it. In fact, watching them is very childish and foolish, where we destroy our own lives with our own hands.
It's high time, we get back to our true selves, to the present moment, so that we can feel alive once again. Let's appreciate life, till we still can. Let's take control of our lives, so that we can conquer ourselves first before we go out and conquer the world.
