I've been on NoFap hard mode and this is my 60th day. but I don't feel any benefits. I still forget things easily, not that confident, demotivated, have brain fog and I don't know if this is working. Anyone who was in this situation, please help.

  2. Yeah I'm on like day 28, and I don't notice many benefits. Be honest with you, I think I might be getting worse in some respects. I'm going to start edging.

It depends on their lifestyle habits.

Do things that provide them with energy and promote their health.

    Do you get enough exercise?
    Do you eat vital food?
Do you go to bed early?

Imagine a jar with a hole in the bottom. If they fix the hole, you still have to fill the jug with water.

No masturbation is plugging the hole, your good living habits are filling the pitcher with water.

Not willing to bring morale down or spread defeatism here, but I personally never really believed the superpowers thing. It’d never work for me anyway, despite having done 100 days streaks several times and shorter ones dozens of times etc. For me the reasons not to masturbate have always been related with how it made me feel spiritually rather than physically. Not to mention the wasted time, wasted water costs (shower wanking), humiliating need to clean after yourself, risk of picking up viruses online, supporting the wretched dehumanising industry and so on.

So be proud of yourself and don’t stop, because I guarantee you that you will eventually want to set yourself back on the track towards freedom from this habit. Consider the many other aspects. And if all you need is superpowers, then look at it this way: if you don’t wank, at least you will always be positive that the reason for that brain fog, tiredness etc. is NOT wanking. Because there’s tons of reasons not to watch pornography, and only one to watch it, really. That one is called “lust” and it tends to turn people’s life into shit if left uncontrolled.

Its normal, think of how long you’ve been addicted and think about how many things you’ve used PMO to hide from. Keep up good habits, exercise, meditation, limit screen time, spend time outside, face and feel your emotions and journal.

Look up Nofap PAWS it can take up to 2 years, lots of long term reboots there.

I’m 237 days Porn free, 1 MO relapse on day 72 and I’m now 165 days MO free.
PMO will not solve your issues. Don’t give up!

I don’t suggest edging, in the order of things that are harmful it goes as follows:

Edging to porn without completion> Full PMO>Edging to fantasy without completion > MO.

With edging you’re swimming in a sea of dopamine endlessly , this will really mess up your reward circuitry and your nervous system. Besides, edging will lead you down the road of relapse at some point.

Recovery takes time, you didn’t become an addict overnight. As I mentioned above look up PMO PAWS.

At first, I thought you were joking. And then I wondered, what a strange place to make such a joke!

Now, that I see your streak, I realize you were being serious.

My friend, you should never listen to these thoughts full of doubts that motivate you to start down a path which it will be hard for you to return from. Try to be aware that these thoughts are not after what's best for you. They're after satisfying your craving.

You could create a routine where you stay off the internet for a day if you suspect that these thoughts might make you do something you'll regret. You could spend your time working out, go out for a beer, talk to some friends, get creative with an art, etc.

I hope this help, my friend. Cheers...
