    Hey guys.
I'm at my first try, and at 7 days clean.
I would like to know what you guys look to get from this experiment.
    I hope to:
    - Get back my discipline in school, so I can get a proper grafe
    - Work hard at getting better at playing the piano
    - Get respect from males
    - Be noticed by the females
    - Don't blush around the females
    - Find a girlfriend
    - get over my crush
    - Become a better leader
    - Be a nicer person
    - Start working out

That's some of the major things I hope to get.
    What about you guys?

    Yours are pretty good goals.

My main goals are just two: recover from PIED and a work-related one.

I also have a few other regarding weight, fitness, and playing a musical instrument. However my main focus is just on two of them, and I'll tell you why.

Other times I have tried to change many things at once, I didn't have a good strategy. I valued more, for instance, getting rid of the PIED. However even though I valued it more, maybe I was too focused on another goal. When I failed or had a minor setback, I relapsed back to PMO. Therefore I felt like crap, thefore my other goals suffered.

It's like trying to get out of multiple downward spirals all at once. If you try to counteract everything at once, you may succeed, but it's way easier to focus on just one "spiral", and attack them one by one. As you finish off each one, you are stronger and have less burden.

I'm not saying you shouldn't pursue all your goals. Plus some of them are supplementary, i.e. finding a girlfriend is very related to getting over your crush. You can happen almost simultaneously.

All I'm saying is prioritize them by importance to you, so you always have a reference of your main one or two. For instance today I should have gone jogging but I didn't, but I don't feel bad because first, my #1 focus are work and no-PMO, and second, I'm getting fitter anyways.

Let me know if you need any help with that, and also if you have some trouble getting a girlfriend because I know my stuff (I'm writing a dating blog too).

Thanks for the reply, it's nice to share the experience. :)

When it comes to priorities, I guess I could use some tips on how to find out what my goals REALLY are. I would appreciate it man ;)

It starts with defining your purpose in life, then work them backwards and use common sense to define what should be your priorities right now.

E.g. my purpose in life is being a millionaire so I can help my family and others, have fun and not worry about money, having the most amazing girlfriend and being a beast at karate (not my actual purpose, just to use an easy understandable example).

Ok, so based on my purpose, what should I have accomplished 2 to 3 years from now? Ok so I should have learned the exact way to build a multimillion dollar business and at least started it, also have gotten green belt, and also have been with a few girls to have fun and gain experience with girls.

Obviously you give more weight to each goal depending on your personal priorities, and using common sense. E.g. maybe you are a beast and can get to be a black belt or a multimillionaire in just 3 years, but probably not both things, since they require complete focus. So you choose one of them depending on your priorities.

Ok, so based on my 2+ years goals, what should I have accomplish one year from now? Your figure that out too.

Then for next quarter, based on the year.

Then for next month, based on the quarter.

    Then for the week.

    Then for tomorrow.

It seems like a lot of work but it's very easy. Plus there are some great apps that help you tremendously. I use Todoist if you want to check that out.

But first I highly recommend you to read this post.

My goals are many, but ultimately one.

The single most important goal I have is to strengthen my spiritual connection with my Divine Creator. Once that is done, the rest will follow.

I've been fortunate enough to have a lot of relative success at a young age so I've experienced what its like to live the good life and I can tell you from experience. Until you are in the driving seat of your life, no matter how popular you are, how much money you have or how many praises the world sings for you you will feel empty inside. You sound like you still in school so its awesome that you joined this site at such a young age yourself - never look back! PMOing will steal something in you that's irreplaceable and which no one can give to you.

So, if anything bro, self-control is the most essential thing in life. That way you'll reach all your goals and when you reach them, you'll sustain them and won't become a slave to them.

Keep it up, never give up, never look back...

I'm trying to gain weight. Today was day 4 of my diet and since my last PMO. Knowing it would be tough I went to the gym at my apartment while my wife was on her way back from work. I stayed off of the P and was productive while doing so.
