    Hi guys,

I wasn't sure where to post this, but since I haven't reached day 90 I'll post here:)
So, I'm on day 78, from May through August 2015 I had my first 90 day reboot.
What I wanted to share with you is the improvement of my general mood, I feel much better now, thanks to God.

I feel so much calm with almost no sexual attraction now, the only trouble is with a girl in college, my classmate, whom I had a crush on since November 2014. She was into me at first, but I was so caught up in myself and lust that I did everything possible to make her reject me. But I'm positive that it was a blessing in disguise, since after a few months I found out a lot about myself and about the dangers of lust.

Anyhow, now my attraction for her has reduced a lot compared to my earlier days, and I keep praying to God that He may redeem me from my old ways and my sexual desire.

Of course, you might be atheist and what works for me might not be for you, but I really urge those who believe in some God to consider how much more spiritual connections we could have by praying every day and more than just stopping masturbation and porn, we stop sexual imagery altogether.

Now I changed my diet completely (no sweets, no bread or pasta and no pork meat) and the results are starting to really encourage me to keep walking this road of chastity.
I also started pranayam, some yoga poses and meditating every day.

Anyway, I want to share an little "idea" or trick I'm developing recently, and here it is. If you want to be free from masturbation, you want to be free from sexual images and thoughts, so the best way is to avoid idealizing what your eyes see (an ass, a pair of b**bs, legs or whatever). If you get an erection, you might repeat to yourself "She's not that beautiful, that's me who's idolizing her body", and this will cause you to lose some attraction. I remember when I was a kid, my father pretty much educated me to see the "ugly" in every girl, every physical defect she had, so that's what I've restarted doing after the teenage hormonal craziness. And the results are really great!

In conclusion, to all virgins or lonely people, don't feel so bad if you are a virgin and/or have no girlfriend.. You definitely are not the only one, and it means you have purity, and I envy you (I had two sexual encounters and I'm 24).

I agree with some things you said, however, avoiding sexual attractions by focusing on womens' physical flaws is not any better than the objectification of women that porn creates. Both are dehumanizing. I dont think it matters whether you intend to live the rest of your life In celibacy or what, the whole point of quitting porn is because it is dehumanizing.

But hey man, bravo on getting that far. You're way farther along than I am. Keep going strong!

P.S. I'm 24 also and I still have my "v card" (technically), but I would consider myself more impure because I have not had any real sexual encounters, therefore I have done absolutely nothing but gratified my ego.

OK, so you want to avoid idealizing woman. Then stop avoiding them. Just talk to them, and they will become human, all too human, with all the little imperfections and foibles that this implies.:)
