Day 79 Changes

    Well,

    After my 30 day success I was planning on checking in on day 60 to report my results. To be honest I've gotten to the point of not tracking days anymore, which is why I'm coming to you on day 79. Here is what has happened since day 30:

    Considering a majority of the first 30 days was a flatline for me it was relatively easy. The real challenge comes when your urges and sexual function return and you have to resist the temptations. I'm not going to lie it hasn't been an easy route since the urges have returned. A few instances of edging but never reaching orgasm. A constant thing that I've caught myself doing is looking at pictures or videos of popular instagram models and thinking of it as a victory that I could look without touching myself, or touching myself TOO much. I've had to close the screen down and tell myself that the whole point of this is not to see what you can get away with, but to realize that you dont need it anymore and it doesnt provide any positive input to my life.

    Another weird thing that has happened is random days of BAD depression. This would be on days where nothing bad happened at home, work, or with the people I had seen that day. Without knowing of the NoFap forum I would have been very concerned, but I knew that this was common and was simply a process in my brain re-wiring.

    So, in my current state, I have very few urges to search the web for pictures or videos of porn or models. Every once in awhile one will creep up, but I know that is my old poisoned brain trying to reach up for one last breath of air, and pretty soon it will be completely drowned out. Here are a few changes I've noticed and lifestyle changes I've made since day 30:

    -Brain fog GONE
    -Social anxiety decreased even more
    -I've noticed my junk has gotten bigger..... cant complain about that
    -Greater frequency of morning erections, even had another wet dream a few days ago
    -Started Keto / Intermittent Fasting: This has done wonders for me. Knowing that this can raise testosterone levels, I'm not sure of how many changes to contribute to this vs. NoFap

    Well, I'm probably going to cruise past a day 90 report. If anyone has any comments or questions please comment and I will try to reply as soon as I can. Stay strong.

    Hi there,

    I was stopped masturbation and porn from 10th jan 2018 and today I did masturbation, I feel very bad about me, I don't know why I did, I uninstalled Facebook, Instagram, and every social media applications. But my subconscious mind always pushing me to reinstall that app again. I don't want to do masturbation again, do you have any ideas for keeping away from all that bad things and I always need a calm clear happy mind. Sorry for my bad English.

    Congrats, dude! Did you have any sort of ED like PIED and if yes, has it got better or cured during this period ?

    Well your streak since Jan. 10th is a great accomplishment! Im sure that was longer than your normal streaks. I would attempt to look at your situation from a different perspective. Next time you're thinking about masturbating remember how bad you felt after you just did it compared to how you feel away from it. Use how you feel after masturbating as fuel to reminder yourself why you dont want to do it anymore. Other than that I would try to stay busy with other things. Maybe pick up some new habits or something that gets you out of the house. Boredom was always the time when I would end up masturbating. Hope this helps.

    Thanks! Yes I had bad ED even though I was healthy and exercised regularly. To be honest I havent had sex with a woman since I started noFap, but judging that I would only have a few morning erections per year when I had ED compared to now when I have multiple per week I would say that there's a good chance it's cured.

    Keto is just short for a Ketogenic Diet, which is a diet high in healthy fats and low in carbohydrates. The one I'm doing is approximately 75% fat , 20% protein, and 5% carbs. I would look up Eric Berg videos on Youtube for all of the health benefits of Keto and Intermittent Fasting if you're interested.

    I think you've done a pretty good time. Just get up and start once more.

    Btw, do set big goals that would likely make your mind stay away from temptations.

    For instance- I'm looking forward to attend a toastmaster event next week. Speaking infront of a group is challenging for me and all the practice and preparations keeps my mind away from any highly sexed stuff.

    Very inciteful and rewarding post to read @Cd23 - glad you're still going strong.

    Unfortunately I hit day 78 (my longest streak) today and have had a minor relapse - not hating myself because I started to feel the positive changes that you speak of also., but another lesson learnt!
