Social media specially FB and IG have been the 90% of my triggers. 90% of my relapses have been because of that. The others, weed and alcohol. Remove triggers are essential to win the war.
I´m almost in day 90. So it´s my first goal accomplished!! Despite all the benefits I have felt, I think the process haven´t been so effective because I´ve been looking and spending hours on Instagram and Facebook. These are quite of very soft porn. Keep the dopamine in the brain not in the normal levels.
It´s like a chain: You are on FB, you start to look for some chicks, then you add them then you start to talk. etc etc.. And because that´s not a real interaction it mimics porn! Maybe some girl rejects you and that frustrate you and then you have more urges and continue spending time on social media.
Just try to eliminate from your smartphone or download an App Blocker.

In conclusion I think the reboot process won´t be very successful if we are "imitating" porn all the time with social media.

  2. Totally agree, I have deleted my Facebook and Twitter. I even tried removing WhatsApp status from my phone. Also we have to mind our choice of music, I have discarded gangster rap music which mostly is about violence or some bad girl or something. Now I listen to better content. We have to be mindful of what we feed our minds on. You can't expect to plant carrot and reap strawberry.

In this war everything related to us must be carefully analysed and tagged as an enemy or ally. This includes bad friends who always want to talk about hot girls.

I totally agree.. whenever I get on long streaks... My music tastes get more and more wild. I've been listening to a lot of shadow rap and sexual music and have begun to notice how it negatively affects my mood and how I view the world. I've decided to take a break from music so I can be more present in daily life instead of sulking away for many hours on end with earphones plugged in.
