I just reached 90 days PMO-free as of 7:00 PM EST. Though my life is far from perfect, nofap has helped tremendously. I had two final exams today and did fine on both of them. I was PMO'ing at the beginning of the semester and that was affecting my grades. Nofap has definitely helped with that but it was hard to recover from such a rough start. My two finals were in calculus and chemistry. The weird thing about Calculus I is that it's the only math class I've ever taken that gets easier as the semester progresses. Everything builds upon itself. I guess it could be a metaphor for my nofap journey. The longer I go without PMO, the further I grow apart from it. Now back on the subject of calculus, I had a C going in to this exam and I imagine I got a C on it. I almost never got below a B back in grade school, but at least I can go on to Calc II next semester. I went into the chemistry final with a D and there's a good chance I'm going to have to retake it next semester. For anybody who doesn't know, the ACS is the final exam you take in chemistry and it's very hard. I did an ACS practice exam this morning and got a 61%. The practice exam was actually the ACS from 2009. I felt like the actual ACS was a bit easier than the practice one. It's possible I could've gotten a C on it, but I'm going to sign up for next semester's class anyway.

Outside of those two classes, life is good. I might get my first job here soon and I'm going to the Peach Bowl on New Years. I'm in the marching band so I get guaranteed access. During my freshman year of high school. My school band along with several others played at the Sugar Bowl during halftime. I didn't go but I watched the game on TV. I'm kinda glad I didn't go because you only saw the show for about three seconds. The good thing about the Peach Bowl is that I get to see my own team play and it's in the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium. And [FACT] Atlanta is better than New Orleans anyway.

90 days is not the end for me. I've made lots of progress so far and there is a lot more progress to make. Because of nofap, I can quit negative habits much easier than I did before. I have the motivation to accomplish the things I want. Before nofap, I was directionless and had no purpose in life. The only things that excited me were porn, video games, and YouTube. Surprisingly, quitting video games and YouTube were a lot easier than quitting PMO: despite the fact that I consumed both of them for hours a day for years. These past 90 days are just he beginning because I'm never going back to PMO. The nofap journey is like a mission to space. At 90 days, you've just escaped Earth's gravity and the whole galaxy is there for you to explore. I'm not leaving this site just yet as I'm still not completely cured (and still don't know if I'll ever be 100% cured). Good luck to everybody else on their journey!

    Amazing work, congrats!

You've told us a lot about how great it feels ... but how did you actually pull it off? What concepts, tools, or processes helped you the most to reach this milestone?

Well first of all, I have a no-tolerance policy towards edging, peeking, and P-subs. Back when I first started nofap, I thought all those things were okay and I struggled to get past a week as a result. I think the reason why I gone this far is because I've been so strict about it. On my last big streak (54 days), I didn't edge or peek at porn but I oogled a lot and I used p-subs. Some of the p-subs I used were spam emails and YouTube. I've made it a habit to delete my spam folder and I cut out most of the YouTube. I cut out YouTube mostly because I was wasting time on it when I should've been doing schoolwork. I deleted the app off my phone and it's blocked on my laptop, so the only place I can watch it is on my desktop. I find it easier to use my laptop for work so I don't use my desktop very often. Porn is blocked on all my devices; though I haven't intentionally searched for porn since my last relapse. I use nofap to replace some of those things. Maybe I go on this site too much but I enjoy it. Because my finals are over, I need to find something productive to do so I don't relapse. Luckily there are plenty of things to get done around here. If I get a job, it would definitely help. The key to overcoming PMO is to find productive activities to replace it. Otherwise, PMO can and will creep back into your life.

Sounds like you need a hobby. You're not going to experience many benefits if you don't put the extra time/energy you get from nofap to work. I think it's easier to not masturbate at all than to limit yourself to once a month. The problem with limiting yourself is when you keep increasing the limit until you're fapping constantly. Don't consider fapping as an option and you won't be tempted to keep doing it.

Nofap superpowers do exist. On day 90 (5 days ago) I took the ACS exam. The professor wouldn't shut up all semester about how tough it was going to be. He said that he hasn't had a single student raise their grade after taking it. I checked my grade in chemistry and I got a C in it. I went into the exam with a 65% so I must be the first student to raise their grade after taking it. This is good because it means I won't have to retake chemistry next semester. I checked my grade in calculus and it was a 69.63%. I emailed the professor and asked him if he could round it up to a C and he did. If I hadn't gotten a C in chemistry I wouldn't be able to move on to either of the classes I have planed for next semester. I also got an A in computer programming which is nice. I took that a while back and got a D. I was PMO'ing daily back then. Nofap has seriously improved my grades. It was literally the only thing I had going for me this semester. If it wasn't for nofap I would've failed both calculus and chemistry.

I had my first job interview yesterday and it was alright. It was my first one, so it could've gone better. I'll hear back from them soon and they'll tell me if I've been accepted for training or not. If I don't get it, I won't be upset because I'll figure out other ways to make money. Now that classes are done, I have more free time. I used to waste it all on YouTube, video games, and PMO. Regulating the first two has become much easier thanks to nofap. My motivation to work out has increased too. I've cut out meat and sugar from my diet recently and I think it helps. Eating a lot of meat at dinner would often lead to wet dreams. I've had a productive day today and it's probably been the best one in recent memory.
