dear friend or friend zone

    short version:

    me single recovering addict talking to new friend, a couple months now

    she was relocating to a new apartment hence, very busy she replied today
    so i replied :
    "welcome back to whatsapp land"
    she replied :
    "good to be back dear friend"

    Im i really a dear friend or did i just get friend zoned lol? opinions?

    And note that you called her a "new friend" - if you are hoping for something more than friendship with this woman, maybe take a look at what kind of vibes you are sending her way . . .

    Also, in my experience, friendship is the way to go! You can never have too many friends, male or female. Trying to rush into sexual intimacy and partnership with someone that you have just met can be a recipe for disaster. Why not be friends first and really get to know this woman before suggesting that you would like to take it to the next level?

    i fully agree with your suggestion truthfully its my first attempt on the market in years BUT as u correctly said i would like to sort my issues out first
