    Dear people join this wonderful community i used to lurk a lot on here and reddit, well from what I've learned coming here and reading is good but sharing your story and engaging is a lot better. I could be on some porn site edging right now thinking "yeah this is fine this won't break my streak" Well... NO going onto Google and typing anything porn related is now a relapse to me and just don't, don't lurk come here and instead of wasting time on staring at the wall feeling awful write your experiences here.

    My personal self improvement and "making progress" methods are.
    Join Nofap be a part of the community- You are NOT alone
    Set your goals
    Examine your weaknesses
    Set a day counter app on your phone and stare at it every night (not the best idea for everyone since it can lead to you doing something else)
    Music and working out go along together try to engage in physical activity at least a bit

    Before I joined I used to lurk. I still felt alone with my problem, like I was a ghost amongst the living even though I was reading posts and visiting the site I didn't feel like I was committed the same or safe from my demons.

    But after joining and interacting with people who also struggle. You create a safe haven, somewhere you feel like your problems can't touch you.

    I was very hesitant to join as a member, because I felt like my addiction would become public knowledge, but I thought "we are all still anonymous here in reality".
    So I joined and it's drastically helped me curb my most desperate problems.
    I still struggle but I'm no where near how bad I used to be. Not even 3%.
