Hello. I am debating whether to take a position for a job that will require me to travel to different cities across the USA. I will be traveling 80% of my time.

The job, pay, benefits are fine. I am just worried about my social life, particularly meeting women. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with a job like this, and being single?

I'm 27, and right now, I don't I honestly have much of a social life now. It is due to my limited connections to people in the town where I live with my parents. I am lonely, but I've gotten pretty good at handling it (not really proud of this). I'm not a virgin, but I'm battling a PMO addiction now.

    I guess my options are:
    1. NSA relationships / one-night stands in the cities I visit.
    2. Meeting someone in a city, then moving there, then dating when home.
    3. Meeting someone in my home city, dating them when home.
    4. Celibacy

Any advice for option 1? It's hard, chancy, and it seems like it will take a lot of effort, but I think it can be done.

  2. Just get out of your comfort zone. Only you know what your comfort zone is.

    Good luck!

You dont have anything to lose. The worst thing could happen is you dont enjoy it and you will have to find another job. But who knows, you might end up knowing awesome people.

My comfort zones are escorts and massage parlors. Hopefully, I can force myself to be more social, even when solo and abroad.

I found some guides online. It comes down to doing apps like tinder, in advance, before you arrive. Otherwise, I'll force myself to go to bars or social events.

Hey I’m in the same boat as you! I’m 26 and been having a traveling job for 8 years now. I understand it is incredibly hard and I honestly don’t have the exact answer for you. I just take it a day at a time. At the moment I just have been remaining celibate. Just be open and honest with the girl.
