Denying your Urges is not Suppose to be a Comfortable Experience

One thing I've learned from being on here and working on changing is the simple fact that this is not suppose to be comfortable to do, nor will it ever be less comfortable, just easier to withstand. This was a concept that I think I failed to really realize when I was first starting this process. Sexual urges are just going to happen, it is what it is, you can't stop that from happening. It doesn't make you a bad person to have those urges, it doesn't even make you a bad person to fall to those urges to PMO. But it makes you a strong person to be able resist. Even making it one day denying your urges is an accomplishment. You can strive to do better and better and better, only if you don't allow yourself to become disheartened.
