Difference between "reset" and "relapse"?

Generally speaking, a reset is a temporary or momentary return to either PMO or MO. A relapse is a full on, sustained return to that behavior or lifestyle, or a binge. Resets/Relapses should be avoided if possible, but used as learning experiences when they happen. It's an accepted belief that resets and relapses are a normal and expected part of the rebooting process but that doesn't give one license to willingly engage in that behavior.
