Difficulty with erections whilst standing up.

    So basically in the last 3 or so months I've noticed I struggle to maintain an erection whilst standing up. I haven't been up to get one while standing up either. I don't know how long this has been the case. I've been PMOing for around 6 years and my addiction probably started fairly early and I've had to ramp up my fetishes in order to get off. I'm used to fapping whilst seated.

    I originally freaked out and thought this was because of some kind of venous leak/vascular problem/severe ED. I can get hard just fine whilst seated or laying down in bed in the morning, I get 100% erection in the morning and my nocturnal boners are fairly consistent and are decent in quality. If I get an erection whilst laying in bed in the morning I can quicky stand up and maintain the erection for a decent amount of time, which is very strange because if I do the same thing in the middle of the day or at night time I find it rather difficult to maintain my erection in a standing position. Only once a few weeks ago I got an erection whilst seated then I stood up and I had a a 100% engorged erection (head full and everything) and I stood up and walked around for some time and my erection stayed full and impressive for well over 30 seconds without any stimulation of any kind (I did a little kegal or two).

    So what gives? Why am I only able to maintain standing erections in the morning *AFTER* I get one whilst laying down. I can 't be a leak because I get full sleeping/morning woods and they are maintained when standing and I can get fully hard to porn most of the time (I do have PIED after all) and I get nice boners sitting down if I chat intimately with someone online...yet if I stand up my boner starts to die down and I lose pleasure pretty quickly...except for that one time and maybe another time I was kinda laying down by the heater on the floor and I saw a nice picture a girl sent me and I got hard quickly and I was sort of sitting up right but on my knees, not standing up but I got a good boner then and it lasted too.

    I read an old post here someone saying this was PIED related but I cannot be really sure...I wondered if this is a pelvic floor issue? I've been doing very basic and light kegals for a few weeks now, I suppose it helps a bit but my problem still persist. So someone also said once it's because the pelvic floor is relaxed in the morning...but doesn't a relaxed floor make erections hard to achieve and maintain? Very confusing information here.

    I apologise for the double post but it occurred to me I should give a bit more background information in regards to pelvic floor.

    I was a chronic weed smoker for a very long time, from age 17/18 all the way up to a 3 months ago, then I quit for good cold turkey and I'm happy with my decision. But it also gave me a very bad cough all the time, it was chronic and I was the sort of person that would cough a lot and use a lot of emphasis. I also was so severe with my bong useage I would often puke in the morning from a massive phlegm build up. So I suppose at least some part of my pelvic floor became weak (it seems likely given that information...). However, I dont have any issues with urinating, my pee stream seems perfectly fine. I have good control, I can reverse kegal (push my pee out a good distance) and since doing kegals I can shut the stream off quite well...although before doing kegals I found it a little harder but I'm certain I was never incontinent....

    This guy here says it due to conditioning (way of masturbating for a long time), however he doesn't really talk much about erections whilst standing up. He does say that a lot of guys tense/squeeze too much when masturbating to porn because they are desensitised so they tense/squeeze to make themselves hard...see I don't really know if I did this? I guess I'd do it as I ejaculated but I don't believe I did it in the process of reaching a climax...I'm very confused and would just like some answer to all this...do I continue doing kegals or do I reverse kegal? If my floor is unbalanced then how can I know the appropriate ratio of reverse and normal kegal? I don't want to mess myself up even worse!

    Look for "low pressure fitness" or hypopressive exercises. Its all over YouTube. You could do it for 10-15 minutes every day while watching TV. It will sort your pelvic floor right out.

    does this really work for pelvic floor? seems more for stomach muscles and breathing. I'll try it anyway.
